First words from Jack Reynor on his next role. Jack Reynor Talks TRANSFORMERS 4 Training And Audition Process
He's got kinda crooked eyes. I only mention it because I couldn't tell what was off with that photo. Well that was a failed burn.
He seems confident and excited for his role. I'm also excited to see what connections his character his with the Transformers in general.
I'm loving how the actors seem very excited for the movie, hopefully that will pay off in the actual thing.
Well so far he's a hell of a lot more likeable than Shia or Megan. Though I have no idea why he says it seems like he's a race car driver? I mean how exactly do you not know if he is indeed a race car driver...unless there's more to this than meets the eye.
Firstly - despite Bay's intense regime - he is unlikely to do the racecar stunts (Which will likely be in the film) so what is he training for? I honestly doubt he'll do any of the car stunts and at this point in the script/filming i doubt he has even been told what he might be doing in a car. I'm guessing he is simply doing this interview and making it seem like he is prepared - probably after being advised to 'get his face in public eye' just incase the film is a flop atleast he can get publicity - as, let's face it... he is not the best actor and was likely hired for his looks (More on that later) As for the remark about his character "My character seems to be a race car driver" its very likely given his likelyhood to spill the beans on the plot/film even more than Wahlberg is currently doing - that he has simply not been told anything about his character. From what i remember also the first news i heard on the whole 'Racecar driving Bf' was that the female cast member would be the lead role this time... so it could be likely that his role really is just reduced to being someone we see drive a car and thats it. I would also like to point out that a seperate article talks about him 'bulking up' for Transformers 4. It is likely he is the 'eye candy' for the female viewers with the plot being mostly the female lead is trying to win him - most likely by being a cheerleader for him at the racecar track - which will no doubt be attacked by Decepticons.
He's an Irish actor...I'll only dislike him IF he's arrogant, obnoxious loudmouth who needs all the attention, is whiny, ect. But I'll give him a chance for sure!
Honestly, I want Bay to revisit the dynamic in Armageddon with the "hot shot" boyfriend dating the daughter of the lead man. It was fun, and allowed that touching ending.
usually when bay says something is the real deal, it's failed... i'm not expecting anything high from the coming movie... it's going to be the same shit soup he fed us with the last 3 movies.
Do race car drivers actually 'bulk up'? I can understand the need to be fit as wrestling cars around a track needs strength and endurance, but the drivers still have to keep their weight down. I suppose it depends on what kind of racing we're actually talking about here. That and I don't really follow racing.
If he stars to scream "Optimus!" then that is when I will stop. That kinda got on my nerves after the 2nd film.
