Im interested to know especially who already own this mold if this is the best foc bruticus so far?

 

Waiting for Hasbro Soundwave makes these guys feasible. Even though I already own the other three, they're cool enough to add to my collection. Can't wait for the Wreckers too!

Maybe if they sell enough, they'll make another combiner... Defensor, maybe??

I have a feeling it'll be another Con. Strangely, it seems the Con combiners have better demand. Take a look at at 3rd parties products, practically all of them are Cons with the exception of the TFC Superion.

 

Seeing those makes me almost glad that people were charging such obscene prices for the SDCC version. Got these on preorder but haven't even had my TT Prime and Jazz through yet.

 

The G2 box does the same - Blast off is covered up a lot by the artwork.

Like you said though, it is very pretty.

 

Agreed, it's crazy how much they're charging for the SDCC exclusive! It's good to see Takara Tomy put out the figures in more game accurate colors than the regular Hasbro release, least people have an alternative!

 

This is the prettiest version of the bunch but I have SDCC's version which isn't too far behind.

 

Now I really want Vortex. Must....resist....THE SHINY.

 

Wow, that shot of the Combaticons in bot mode was amazing. All that nice metallic paint coupled with so many tiny detail spots goes to show how easily a little bit of paint can make or break a figure (Arms Micron line...).

 

I honestly prefer the SDCC version over this one. Cool as they are, I'll stick with the ones I've got. I hope those who missed out on the SDCC version will hopefully be able to get this one.

 

I actually prefer the SDCC version to this. I like how this one's Blastoff has more paint apps but Bruticus shouldn't be shiny. Maybe if it were his first day as a Decepticon he'd be nice and sparkly but for a giant brute that has seen alot of battle, shiny just seems out of place.

 

Looks way better and more eye catching than the SDCC set, I'll say that much. SDCC's looks really dull because everything is brown and muted, but this one just pops because the sharp colors. And I think the shininess actually makes them more accurate, because from what I can remember they were pretty damn shiny in that cutscene in the game.
