Rescue Bots voice director Ginny McSwain is the guest on this week's episode of Rob Paulsen's "Talkin' Toons" podcast. She only touches upon Rescue Bots very briefly, but mentions that Mark "Luke Skywalker/The Joker" Hamill has recorded a guest star role for the show.

Rescue Bots/DCAU crossover! Nah, but seriously, it's good to see more big voice-acting names in Transformers stuff. Given Hamill's VA track record, it looks like we'll be getting another big villain for Rescue Bots series 2?

 

Cool. Love Mark Hamill in Star Wars and Batman. Like Jalaguy said, it's good to see Rescue Bots getting more big voice acting names.

I've often thought Hamill could probably do a good Starscream basing on his other work.

He probably won't be doing that for Rescue Bots though.

That's my guess, too - besides Luke Skywalker, he isn't exactly known for his heroic roles.

Awesome news! I hope he crosses over to Transformers Prime too. I don't care if he's an Autobot or a Decepticon--the dude's got made talent! ...though, he may make a better Decepticon.

It's about time! I hope this leads into a great career in Transformers. I have no idea who he'd voice (ideally I'd say Cyclonus, but that's me), but it's just awesome that the great Mark Hamill will be joining the league of TRANSFORMERS voice actors (not to mention a STAR WARS actor, no offense Trekkies but I hear too many Trek actors in TF, and IMO it doesn't feel right considering TF was based on STAR WARS).

 

I would Love to see Him as Omega Supreme.

I still hope he eventually does a voice for Bludgeon, though - mainly 'cuz he's not averse to playing raspy-voiced, skull-faced villains
