I noticed how Soundwave looks like some sort of Fuzorish cross between a UAV and an Eagle - now it looks like Starscream is a cross between a Pterasaur and a jet (in fact he looks a great deal like Armada Terrorsaur don't you think ?).

I have to say I'm really keen to see what a Half animal Megatron would look like !!

 

Odd. These seem so simplified, almost Fast Action Battler-like. Oh well I'm sure we'll see real pics soon enough. Hoping for a beast mode.

We have already of seen 8 figures from the Deluxe Beast Hunters line. Approximately half of what is expected to be released at retail considering Prime R.I.D. Series 01 was 14 figures.

Out of these 8 figures I only plan on buying Smokescreen. I do like the Voyagers though and look forward to Optimus and Predaking. Still on the fence about the other "Predacons".

Looks like it suffers from 'chicken legs' interesting that Starscream got a new mold... have a worrying feeling it is just introducing a new toy before they kill him off.

Bulkhead looks like a similar design as before, though that spinning blade looks awesome.

Ripclaw will be a buy for me, just for the claw for a deluxe/voyager Omega supreme.

Smokescreen will probably be a pass, his character just feels like how Bumblebee would have been if he talked.

 

Kind of vaguely reminds me of Swoop, but yuck...

 

Personally I genuinely dislike this line. It feels like Beast Machines all over...

 

I'm getting kind of a Thunderwing vibe. Still not digging the new figures though. Easy pass.

Yeah, Beast Hunters is going to save me a pile of money, so at least there's that.

This doesn't look good at all ... of course I can't judge too much from these small pictures. Not too confident with these though.

 

takara is passing and some countries won't even carry BH. only in usa are there people with no taste who would buy this garbage.

Am I miss-remembering or did the Takara designers say somewhere that Microns will continue into the 2013 Japanese line (Beast Hunters)?

I'm thinking they might go premium deco or they might go the Micron route. It would be a shame to loose some of those accessories though.

Other than some QC issues, I've been impressed with Beast Hunters wave one. I'm willing to give these guys a chance - plus, I'm a sucker for a new Starscream mold.....
