and his legs were prone to popping off at the joint. They look awesome to me, exactly what I've been waiting for.....gotta love Google translations too lol
It looks like someone has been playing with them in a sandpit for a month the paint is so poor on them. (especially Frenzy). I hope you can transform Frenzy's arms the other way the exposed ball joints look horrible. Any MP cassette / Original cassette non-robot mode size comparison images any place yet ? I'd like to see if the Cassettes are a unique size in terms of thickness and foot pint or if they'd still fit inside a G1 Soundblaster or Soundwave. The cassettes look odd with no text on them like C-90 or Metal Position.
Come on!! you'd think they would've learned something from the MP-12 mess and it looks like they had with MP-14 but now this.. I hope soundwave is QC free
Hmm, the new MP cassette modes look slightly bigger than the original G1 molds. Kinda doubting there's backward compatibility with the new molds with G1 Soundwave (along with BTS Sonicron and DL Broadblast) at this point but that remains to be seen.
Wow.... I hope the paint on the retail Frenzy chest is better. With a figure this small, blemishes are all the more noticeable.
If that paint is that sloppy I'm gonna cancel my PO and wait for a second run or something. No way it's that bad straight out of the box
As someone else pointed out, if you looked at the label side up picture of the cassettes, you can clearly see a set of numbers on Frenzy which typically show up on "Not for sale" prototypes and samples. These guys are definitely samples and not the final product. That said, I love both molds and the paint on Buzzsaw actually looks stunning! I think I like him better than Laserbeak!
All I know is that if they expect us to shell out $30 each for these little guys then they better be damn near flawless with zero paint, qc issues, or anything else. Isn't that the least they could do?
I can't help but think the feet on Frenzy and the yellow part on the main body of Buzzsaw might be metal. They seem to look like that. My main Flaw with my MP-08 is also a flaw I find in my Hasbro Thundercracker. The upper torso does not seem to lock in well with the bottom and tends to slide upwards when the figure is moved... Annoying but not a deal breaker. And another Flaw for Masterpiece Megatron... His arm articulation is only slightly better then his g1 mold... He still is stuck only moving them back and forth he can not move his arms across his chest... >.< Chris
What... is everyone talking about? The paint looks flawless to me. Is anyone going to point out specific problem areas? All I see is "THE PAINT SUCKS MORE LIKE S**TPIECE WAY TO GO TAKBLOW UGH IM DONE WITH MASTERPIECE" and I honestly have no idea what you're talking about.
It's the chrome on Rumble's chest, it looks flaky. If these are indeed test versions I'm not worried and even so, it'll be easy to touch up.
