    Smokey has removable armor? YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS

Also, Bulky looks pretty good - The FE's made him kinda-un-needed, but hey.

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do. :(

I find Bulk's design interesting though I think I need clearer pics to decide if I go for the deluxe or the Cyberverse version

I'm personally not that interested in getting Smokey tho

The front fender is attached to his forearm. That's where the clear headlights are from the looks of it. Even though he has a fake chest, it looks like the front splits forward. Also the calf piece rotates inward for transformation. Nice, waist rotation. Not too happy with the paint choice. With what appears to be very little back kibble.

I can already tell that this isn't gonna be a half assed transformation. I expect to see something as intuitive as RID Vehicon and Wheeljack. Hard to tell from 2 blurry images with no back shot though...

That Chinese seller has like 14 Bulkheads and sold 1 Smokescreen and is already "out of stock" of Smokescreen. I hope this doesn't mean that they're gonna short stock Smokescreens. If Hasbro can't already predict that this is gonna be next to the hottest figure on this line then they're out of their minds!!

There are no clear headlights on him. In robot mode, they're painted yellow. In altmode, they're painted yellow.

I really wonder if they actually look at their figures and guess how popular it will be, or if they just design it and go "Here, produce this".

Speaking of Characters I notice that Dreadwing, Knockout and Smokescreen also have similar knee pads and even Optimus, Unicron and Megatron's are not so different either.

Lego Men "Are" Brick by virtue of their feet. Not that it's any of Hasbro's Business anyway what Lego does except when they wish to rip them off with Build To Rule and Kre-O. I guess they might see Lego Star Wars Figures as a direct competitors to their own (some what samey) Star Wars (re)releases if Lego were selling figures alone at some point. But I personally don't see that as any difference to deformed mini figure brands sharing properties Hasbro's also makes.

Do you think it's Breakdown's fairly weak ankles that are a potential problem ?

Maybe they can make a Deluxe Breakdown with a little hammer and a big ol Cow catcher armour bit that is removable and doubles as a shield. but that like Smokescreen still looks like his original self.

I hope they make a deluxe Breakdown, too... Then I can hope for a Fallback repaint so poor Fallback isn't a Micromaster on my shelf..

Maybe we'll get upgrades to the Cliffjumper and Arcee molds so we can have unique Flamewar and Tailgate deluxes..

As mentioned Smokescreen's heavy blue front end is completely removable. If you look closely at the Alt mode you can see that the front end is just clipped on and under that you have a screen accurate Smokescreen in all his white glory. I can forgive the fake chest and I have to tip my hat at Hasbro for making a BH Smokescreen that has completely removeable BH parts to give us a TF : Prime Smokescreen.

From what I can tell with Smokescreen's transformation, the back end ends up on his lower legs, the roof splits in half and folds in on itself on top of his forearms, the center of the hood comes down to form the center of his chest, and the rest of his front end stays on his back. I'm probably pretty wrong, though.

Given that Smokescreen is my favorite Prime character ever due to being one of the more interesting characters and adding some much needed interpersonal dynamics to the Autobots, I want to see how this new Deluxe toy stacks up with some clearer photos and/or videos. Bad.

After looking through the new Beast Line, I find them dissapointing to say the least( albeit Predaking has sharps lines and a good color scheme). It makes me wonder how in the new season of Prime will the bots look? If the toys are any indication of this? Some of the color schemes are pretty bad.(or maybe Im just taking outta my ass which is been known to happen)

Then that's a point for him if it's removable... what the hell happened to Wheeljack and Bumblebee?
And I think you missed a news story about a certain Arms Micron Release...

He started out as Knockout's twin brother.

They had non-spiky versions. Smokescreen didn't.

His point was that THIS Smokescreen is its own mold. The person you quoted was telling you that this Smokescreen is a brand-new mold, taking parts from no one else. When you said "Now they remold him" you were misunderstood, as remold means to take an old mold, repaint it and/or give it a new head, or modify it in some way, then re-release it. This Smokescreen is a new mold, not a remold.

Thanks for pointing this out. Damn, I guess I will own at least one Beast Hunter figure. Smokescreen!

I hope we get a Breakdown like this too. Add some shit armor I could throw away and release that mofo. Better then the $80!

I wouldn't be surprised if Breakdown showed up in one of the waves of voyagers with armor like this. He comes with the Apex Armor in the Cyberverse line, maybe they will call it that here?

I'm sure Hasbro, with the start of the new line and their expressed desire (NYCC) to get all the in show characters released as mainline toys, will find room for Breakdown. I'm sure any budgetary concerns they had during the RID for the voyager figure can be addressed as I bet each new line gets a new budget.
