Deluxe Bulkhead? Why at all and why now?

Both are bought though. Too big a fan of both characters and these setbacks aren't big enough to offset that.

That Bulkhead is way too out-of-scale and not-Bulkhead for me.
Therefore I will repurpose him as Roadbuster for sure.

I love them both, all beast hunter toys are now considered bought. Except maybe soundwave?

 

From the pics, it appears the front quarter panels are attached to his legs, with the grill possibly forming the heels.
It also seems the rear fenders are his shoulders (like TFP Wheeljack).

If that is the case, then Deluxe TFTM Jazz should've followed this transformation scheme.

 

New mould deluxe Smokescreen awesome. Has to is making it easy to skip parts of the line ( deluxe bulkhead? ). But they are making it impossible to skip the entire line like I originally intended.

 

Can't wait for a review to show us what Smokescreen looks like without the armor.

 

Bulkhead seems to be a homage to Man-At-Arms.

 

not a fan of the BH designs/elaborations BUT they i do like the concept of powered up characters, look like fun designs for kids....

Soundwave is the only one I've bought so far and that was only for the "little ravage".

I'm still more excited for the Cyberverse Smokescreen than the deluxe.

 

Bulkhead look ok. He reminds me more of a new G1 Brawn than anything else. Not sure what the think of Smokescreen since we don't really have a good look at either mode.

 

Okay, I'm not really like the whole spikey-armor thing. It is nice to see Smokescreen with a new mold but that armor stuff really kills the mold. The only thing I'll probably be getting from this line is that large Predaking.

 

I do wonder if BH Smokes has his door wings; the in-package picture looks like he has them but the back of the card picture seems like he's missing them? Since the figure apparently has a faux chest, I don't see why they couldn't at least have given him his signature door wings.

To all those asking if BH armor is removable. I have BH Bee. The Spikes and armor is molded on to the figure. Some things like bee missile holder clips in, but lloks like it would break if you try to remove the "clipped/pegged in" attachments

I hope BBTS puts Smokescreen up for order soon.

 

Bulkhead would make decent kitbash fodder... Give him a new head and paint job... could be an old G1 bot updated...

Smokescreen with detachable armor means this is gonna be sought after and repainted almost immediately methinks. The AM Albino Knockout is just... blech IMO.
