Got out my Energon Omega Supreme just for the hell of it. It's been in storage for a couple years.

Transformed it into vehicle mode, and there is exactly one inch of space between the center of the platform where the head would mount and the bottoms of the wheels. Could his head really be that small?

No, I don't think it is.

I looked back at these photos:



Look around where the head is. aside from the two parts that make up the platform the head mounts to normally, it's on a third piece, a big square right in the center, that's recessed a bit. It doesn't look like it's just molded recessed, it looks like its for sure a different piece completely when you look at the edges of it.

So I'm thinking that center square piece pushes down, giving the head some more clearance, because I don't think that there's any way that the new head, even as small as it is, is under one inch tall. In the second picture, the right side of the head seems pushed lower into the platform than the left side as well.

Also, there's a really tiny red bit visible at the bottom of Omega's head in that first photo. No idea what that is.

 

That red piece looks almost like a hinge, but I can't make it out exactly.

I just had an idea if you unscrewed Optimus Prime's Trailer would it split into two even sized pieces ? if so then can you then place those pieces on Omega supreme using the screw holes or Minicons posts to attach it to other 5mm holes or posts then making a pair of wings for him ?

I was wondering when we were going to see some new pics of this guy for the past couple of weeks now. Worth the wait...this is a fantastic remold and repaint. Definitely replacing my Energon Omega Supreme as my Classics version.

I'll use E-Supreme and Sentinel as Guardians.  

 

I love him, glad I pre-ordered. My only complaint is why did they have to paint the right leg red ? A grey train wouldnt have looked bad and kept the G1 theme in robot mode.

Looks awesome but, where are the missles for the shoulder launcher? I dont see them in any of the pics

How does Prime have an endurance of 10 while Omega Supreme has an endurance of 6?

 

If that's based off G1, it makes sense. Have you seen how many times he's broken down in that series? Powerful yes, but boy does he need a lot of constant repair.

 

Omega's a hefty dude so he has to catch his breath after a good run???

 

Wow. After seeing these pictures, I really want that Omega.
Darn it. I thought it would be an easy pass!

 

I made the right call pre ordering omega but now I kinda want prime after seeing the pics but I will show some self restraint (for once) and wait till I see a review of him on youtube before I decide

The head must be removable based on that pic with prime. Good to see

 

Nope... chuck tes- err... look at the pic of omega in "claw" mode with prime, they have his head on a elevator type mechanism. In order to fit in alt and combined mode you actually push the head down into the neck base.

 

They must have just left the head in there. I have energon chunky boy prime and the omega and there is no way with that head in there like that, Prime's body could fit in as well.
