Jason Jansen, the child actor who played Tommy Kennedy in the live action segments of the widely unknown "fifth season" of the G1 cartoon, has been a mystery among the Transformers fandom for years. So much that the Transformers Wiki even considered him (or rather, information regarding his person) a "holy grail".

Now someone found him. Or rather, he found his name mentioned on someone's blog and decided to give an interview.

Turns out his real name is Jason Jankowski, "Jansen" was just a stage name, and he quit acting and grew up to become an ABC Television exec.
