TFP Voyager Dark Energon Optimus Prime On-hand Pics

The TFP Dark Energon Voyagers Optimus Prime and Megatron have been officially released in the Philippines last Saturday, December 29, 2012. I got the Optimus, here are some pics I took:

I really hope the TRU stores in the U.S. actually carry these (as rumored).

Not too fond of that shade of blue either, same with the Dark Energon Bumblebee. What's more off-putting to me though is the huge Autobot sigil on the hood in truck mode. I thought they were Robots in Disguise? Hehe.

Also, the sword is too small, more apropos for Cyberverse commander Optimus, not that it would fit the holes though.

It would have been awesome if the shade of blue they use was the one on the box art, complete with battle damage:

I think that color scheme actually works well! Too bad the Megatron doesn't look anything like the promo colors (looks much much worse)

they both look worse, but megs esp, they totally changed his colors and his shoulders are no longer clear.

me too! cause i dont want to pay 50 bucks for a re color of all these molds!!!!

hope at least target can have the exlusives!

I've had it for almost a week the blue parts have not grown on me.

If this gets a black redeco with some purple crystal parts, I'm sure to get that.
