It's not an Ultra Magnus trailer:

    トランスフォーマー新ç€æƒ…報ブログ - (追記)TFプライム版ウルトラマグナス用ペーパークラフトコンテナ

According to the report, it's the same one released with Arms Master Optimus Prime. The catalog was produced before the final confirmation was available. Presumably the Ultra Magnus version was planned but unfeasible for whatever reason.

With only 1,000 of these being distrusted nationwide (zenten goukei), I'm not surprised some people are coming up with Optimus Prime trailers--no ones to send a small child (or man child:p ) home empty handed.

Is that Masterpiece Ultra Magnus' trailer? I think that trailer looks better with a bigger UM.

Yep that looks like MP-02 Ultra Magnus paper trailer. So not only are they saving on making a paper version.... they're saving by not hiring a new artist to make it.

    Pretty cheap.

I assume if they had gone through with it, they would have made a new paper trailer design. The promotion as advertised didn't actually happen, so we can't really bitch about how cheap it is.

I think the Cardboard Trailer was for Battle Shield Optimus Prime (a Voyager size toy with a gold Micron shield) and not for the Weaponizer derived Arms Master Prime who's obviously far to big for that trailer.

I'm just reporting what is said on the line, and the link definitely says "Arms Master" not "Battle Shield", even with the engrishing of an online translator, there's no way one could be transmuted into the other.

These paper-craft trailers are free with purchases of at least 3,000 yen--it's hard to complain about free stuff, you know?

The whole arms microns, sticker gimmick is Takara's attempt to rope 80's fans who are now parents back into collecting Transformers again with their own children (it worked on me). Most children won't even know this trailer is a replica from way back when, but when they build it with their father (which is Takara's hope), they'll learn about the history and have something more to talk to dad (or mom) about;)

    Edit:

Actually, there were two papercraft trailers released: the first was released as a Toys R Us exclusive with those who pre-ordered Battle Shield Optimus Prime, though I'm sure leftovers were given to those late adopters too; the second one was released for the Arms Master Prime, the larger one with the Matrix Arms Micron that forms 2/3 of the Arms Micron Star Saber (looks pretty cool, actually). This version has holes to around it to house Arms Microns on it--I don't think the first one is able to do that--haven't seen pictures of it doing that at least...

    EDIT 2:

They are the same trailer, though made to scale, it would seem.

The trailer shown is the same one, I believe, that came with Masterpiece Ultra Magnus. I just unboxed mine and at a glance there arent any differences. Did they reissue this trailer with other molds?
