Looks like I made the right decision deciding to only get the beasts in this line, digging the aesthetics in robot mode.

 

I wonder if these characters are going to have any speaking parts...

 

At first glance I thought it was the alien creature that hatched from the asteroid egg in G1's "The Secret of Omega Supreme".

Finally a female Predacon/Decepticon that's NOT a Mary Sue Spider Bitch.

 

Hey, that's a character (model) used in Rage of the Dinobots! Yay.

I have to say, these beasts actually look pretty cool. Way cooler than the spikey Autobots, who are just the same figures but with added stuff.

These are great news for people who love Beastformers. Not sure if I will ever pick any up, but if I would, I could see myself just go for the beasts and not the Bots & Cons.

 

I know, I can't stand Blackarachnia.

 

Aside from the obvious Photoshop, that's a good looking figure.

 

Just to answer a few questions of fellow boardies:
- no i haven't opened Soundwave up yet, the inset sheet is the Soundwave sheet, the cross-sells at the bottom are just the wave1 cross-sells.

- Yes Ripclaw is #6 in the set.

Stupid question though. Are all the Perdicons going to be based on dragon-like beasts?

 

Are we sure this line is Beast Hunters and not Dragon Hunters?  

Not that I am complaining, I would love a Predacon team of just dragons! So far we are up to 3!

huh, so Far Beast Hunters has not been that impressive to me personally.
Guess I'll just bypass the majority of this line for the time being, just as well, I've repainted too many wheeljacks for my Con shelf to have much more space.

 

Now that is cool, she looks much better than Lazerback and I definitely hope she's in the show.

 

We'll hopefully hear more about her and the rest of wave 2 at Toyfair in February.
