Thank you Hasbro for the break I'll be taking in finding stuff. I'll pass on all of these Beast Hunters figures. If I find Predaking I'll buy it. If not then I'll keep my preorder with BBTS. The Botshots Stunticons look good but I'll probably pass.

I notice TRU is getting everything these days. Target and Walmart seem to suck more.

 

^Yea, I am on the fence. I didn't do the FOC line, but got sucked into Prime, so I am at the point of deciding weather to continue it through Beast Hunters or go back and grab the few Takara Prime figures I am missing, or call it good. I will cherrypick some of the FOC Voyagers (hopefully on sale), but have no interest in Botshots (though I can understand people liking them).

It is almost good that there isn't much for me the way Takara is rolling out MPs, as well as Encore Ft Max, and 3rd Party stuff.

 

Couldn't care less about Beast Hunters but those Stunticon Bot Shots will be bought SO HARD.

 

I do kind of wish Dead-End was made using the Jazz mold, Wildrider/Brake-neck with the Lockdown and Dragstrip with Mirage, even if they are fantastic as-is.

 

I appreciate the Blue themed Jetfire (something I wanted) But it's a great pity they didn't come up with another Autobot theme that would have allowed to see a Red Mirage and a Red Ironhide Botshot release (before they change the mould on Ironhide next year).

I'm amused that Botshot Mirage is remoulded/Repainted into Botshot Dragstrip even though neither of them are a single seat Racing car any longer.

Nice to see the Wreckers as Stunticons - it's surprising but it actually works rather well.

I'll even forgive them the lack of Wildrider - they could still sell Wldrider as a jump-shot or a spin shot and just say that Break-neck / Brakeneck (I guess that refers to his rapid pace or 'Break-neck' speed and not that he gives passers by whiplash) he could even be seen as the small car that used to be Menasors chest plate in a fully robotic form - or a continuation of the idea that the various teams extend beyond the usual suspects - so like we now have potential Constructicons like Demolishor, Blight, or Hightower this is just doing the same thing adding new recruits to the stunticon team.

Heck for all we know he might even represent a new Targetmaster upgrade (like the Seacons).

Now there's an idea for people can you fan mode a Stunticon Targetmaster mode out of a Stunticon and his vehicle mode weapons and a borrowed Piranacon fist.

Thankfully my wallet will be getting a break because this entire Beast Hunters line is going to be an easy pass for me.

Lol, just looked at these pictures and realized how long it's been since I've used Transformers instructions. Now, depending on the difficulty, I either just transform it or use the box. Well, Jackie looks great, especially for someone who flew into a rock.

 

Do they have TechSpec numbers?

 

If Decepticon Dragstrip can be used in preference to say Decepticharge then why not Decepticon Wildrider or Decepticon Wild Rider heck even Decepticon Wyldrider / WildRyder.
or Stunticon Wildrider or Stunticon Wylder Rider and so on in that sort of way ?

It seems especially perverse when there's a new Wildrider Arms Micron toy out in Japan in a couple of months.
The problem with that Stunticon set is it makes me want the DOTM wreckers Deluxes to be redone as the Stunticons now too.
Some of the other Realife Nascar decos would look great on them too. And weaponised Vehicle based Decepticons make a darn sight more sense too than the actual Movie Wreckers do.

Remember to keep a weather eye out for Spinshots, Jumpshots and the like too (There's a rather nice Sunstorm Botshot repaint due too).

 

For those of you on the Beast Hunt, the TRU was the Culver City one on Jefferson. They didn't have any more cases up top or in the back of Beast Hunters though, but they're ordering them. They usually get shipments Tuesdays.

Not sure how fast I'll get used to the new layout, those instructions look pretty wonky, and the back of the box is just a tiny little itty bitty description of part of the character now? Fail.
