Going to stick with the deluxe. Not going to buy any more Soundwaves until MP Soundwave.

 

His tapes don't hit on much. I'm not a big fan of the Cybertron stuff but I do like his translucent purple tires. I give them credit for that.

Not sure if I really want Soundwave. Soundblaster I'll get if I can find him. Not really bothered by the chest gimmick since I quite frankly don't like the disk minions. They just look odd to me.

 

Just ordered Soundblaster and the Rumble/Ravage set from TRU.com.

I love my WfC Soundwave, but he's got a couple issues. Chief among them a lack of minions, and I don't like his feet. This version fixes that, at least.

Yes, it's sort of a needless thing, but I'm a big Soundwave fan. And a new Soundwave with minions that I don't need to sell my firstborn for? That's rather exciting.

But the size doesn't bother me. G1 Soundwave was huge. And this will fit in just fine in Classics, while WfC SW will be retired from my Classics shelf.

Just wish he had a gun.

 

Love, love, love FOC Voyager SW! I agree with others that he seems a tad large, but sometimes scale must be sacrificed for functionality, and that needed to happen in order that the minions work- I guess.  

I just wish Laserbeak pegged to his arm/shoulder somehow and I'm waiting for the studious board member to showcase how this mod will work!

so soundwave can fit laserbeak, and an extra 2 pack of minions?
that's badass, I did not know this. easy way for sw and sb to store away those extra minion packs!

 

This is the best non G1 mold of Soundwave that I've seen.

Yeah, I just ordered my Soundwave /w Laserbeak from the ToysRUs.com site this weekend for $22.99 (but shipping was a bit steep). The Ravage & Rumble and Frenzy & Ratbat 2-packs ($10.99 ea.) didn't show up listed online until I searched for them today. Which is too bad, as they are currently running a "Buy 1, Get 1 40% off" sale now, which would have made picking up a minion 2-pack extra sweet. Oh well. :/

FYI, I had to name search for all of them; they weirdly don't come up on the TRU site under the Transformers drop-down category menu.

 

Ok why doesnt he have a gun? Its pictured on back of box and again in the 1st part of instructions then again later in the instructions. But no gun what gives am i missing something didnt anybody else notice this?? It looks like a g1 optimus gun. Also cant get him to work like he's suposed to but otherwise he frigggen awesome. Any thoughts on the gun>>> LMK

 

the missing gun is just like missing paint apps. false advertising.

 

The gun was costed out at some point in the process, but Hasbro overlooked to update the box and the instructions.

Blaster's really nicely done - new chest, head and wheels, plus a much more primary deco, gives him his own identity.
