News Credits: 2 | it might be the same figure but i just compared my 25th optimus to the new reissue i received from bbts and the shades of red and blue are different. the new reissue i received has the darker colors than the 25th but the autobot symbols are tampo'd as reported. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/junkio...bots-rule.html |

I know there are third-party ones, but between that and getting a G1-accurate blue roller (because I'm that guy), there's only one G1 Optimus that I would buy at the moment, and that's the Takara Collection one (which, as far as I know, is the most accurate to the original cartoon, colours not included, of course, but I don't mind either colour scheme), and that's why I still don't have a G1 Optimus Prime (also because I saw the 25th Anniversary one here once, when I was on holiday elsewhere in the country, and couldn't afford to buy it at the time, and I NEVER saw it again. Ever). |

There have been some reports that I have heard since this where people are getting the correct color cabs, but almost 100% of the time, it's always been the lighter shade of trailer, which to me is a major turn-off. It's also been confirmed that it's definitely not the same quality as the original Commemorative release, and you may notice they don't even refer to it as that on the packaging, either. Not sure what HASTAK's thinking is with this. To answer the other question posted, this will definitely be an online retailer-only release, as there has been no word of any relationships with Toys R Us, WalMart, Target or any other retailer carrying any of the re-re-releases. ![]() Add B&K Collectables to your Facebook HERE Follow B&K Collectables on your Facebook HERE Subscribe to the B&K Collectables' newsletter HERE |
