Yeah but here its essentially 10.99 for 2 bakugan and storage cases. Which is about the running price for such things.
I saw these at my TRU today too, passed on it and got Brawl and Vortex instead, didn't see Soundwave or Soundblaster.
They uh, already have those. They even Encored them, and made Masterpiece ones. I have to agree that these are overpriced for US TF standards. :/ Don't market these as Legends if they are their own special pricepoint 2-pack thing.
Dont forget these were seen at TRU which is a total ripoff store so they are probably 2$ or more cheaper in other stores. Or are these TRU exclusives like everything seems to be these days ? I havent seen anything new in any stores in my area lately, just TF Prime stuff and movie crap.
Aren't they just as expensive at Target too now? It's hasn't been all bad, the Generations stuff has been decent, but it seems the good stuff this year are all dedicated exclusives, which are a pain to acquire. I'm really surprised at the prices for these cassettes. $10 for two? Come on, minicon 3-packs were cheaper than that. Are we being charged for the energon-cube looking cases too? I am wondering about this so called "Platinum Collection" mentioned in the latest club magazine, probably more exclusives to be scalped on eBay.
The two packs scan at Target for $9.99. The voyagers were $22.99, IIRC, but you'd have to check my old threads to confirm. I know I posted a new thread for each with the DCPI/Prices
TRU has actually been roughly the same, or even cheaper, for some TF size classes recently. At least in my area anyway. Not really. You're getting a two-pack of "legends" for the price of .. two legends.
Even though I don't particularly like these, it is cool to see a Soundwave on shelves again with ejectable minions.
^ Indeed. The quotes are the problem. They aren't as good as Legends. And if one is the equivalent of a Legend, they don't need to be in a 2-pack, and I don't need to buy Frenzy in order to get Ratbat. If two of these = one Legend, I'd buy them all on general principle. Even if I could pick and choose, I"d buy more than I will, now, end up buying.
