Soundwave & Soundblaster have been available overseas for several weeks. They have yet to be available from a North American source in any way.

Blaster & Grimlock being available overseas before the end of the year in no way makes it likely that we will have them available from a North American source before the new year.

Just thought this should be pointed for everybody who thinks that BBTS (or some other North American source) will have a pre-order that will make Blaster or Grimlock get to them in the next 20 days.

 

Yeah Grimlocks tail is too small. And the Bot mode looks too TF Prime-ish.

I may eventually get Blaster only because there hasn't been a real one in decades.

 

As badly as I want this new Grimlock, I cant justify that price. I'll wait patiently for a state-side release.

When I saw FoC Grimlock was up for preorder at RK, where I'm probably going to make a preorder purchase very soon, I was going to order him when I make my other order. But for $35+shipping it isn't worth it, when I can get him for half that, eventually.

FE Bulkhead; FoC Grimmy; maybe FoC Screamer; & Prime Breakdown, if he ever gets a US release, are all the TFs I currently have any interest in getting (recently found the other FEs I wanted).

 

RK has confirmed that it can ship these on the 14th. How badly do I (we?) want to have Grimlock before Christmas?

Regarding FOC voyager Grimlock assortment, we were informed that USA domestic release will be around March2013. If you can't wait that long, don't miss this chance to order now! We will try to start shipping as early as on 14Dec!

We receive many ems order for these items, I think those orders should able to arrive before Christmas! But if you can wait a little bit, you can choose a cheaper regular air mail instead.

 

This Grimlock's head appears to tuck into the body somewhat, to the light-up mouth gimmick becomes a light-up chest gimmick.

The tail may look better longer, but It's shorter so it can fit within the lower legs in robot mode.

 

Well I just cracked. Sold some extra stuff to some friends and I'll be buying a FOC Grimlock with it along with some extra gifts for the family.

As much as I can't justify the raised price, I also am an impatient Grimlock fan who can't wait until Feb-March

Well, his Classics version, which he did appear in some fiction. And his Beast Wars version.

But really, no version of Grimlock's head hoodie has ever bugged me at all. It's relatively small and doesn't affect balance.

He is "inspired" by a t-rex.

Shockwave took artistic licenses.  

I see they darkened up the plastic in a few area, and it looks like he has a faction symbol on his chest instead of a blank light up spot.

I am impatient, but I am sure a metallic Takara version would be fantastic.
