MP-11 is the dead ringer. I agree that Classics head sculpt isn't a bad representation and is pretty close and I don't fault it, as its the rest of the figure that doesn't really meet today's standards, not the face, but its not absolutely accurate.

I for the most part pass on today's standards lol
I love the classics seeker mold, great headsculpt ,perfect proportions, the plane mode holds together really well, love the paint apps (except the two American Starscreams) never liked those null rays too much but nobody is perfect.

Any way to flip this guys wings around to more resemble the tetrajets? You know... without major surgery.

Get Takara's for game accuracy, and Hasbro's for IDW accuracy :)

I'm amazed no one ever complained that in 2006 the Classics figures were smaller than Cybertron's figures...but then again people really really were blown away by a line like this.

IIRC there was some grumbling about the size of Optimus Prime as compared to Crumplezone or another Cybertron Voyager, but nothing to the same scale as a similar shift now. A lot more observation that "huh, that's really small" and a whole lot less of the rage. It was a much more measured and objective analysis, though I'm probably misremembering and screening out a whole lot of the angst.
