It's been said about a billion times :) . It's definitely expected - although I'd rather have Stalker colors because I think they're more awesomererererer!

OBVIOUSLY BOTFAIL AMIRITE CONVENTION IS DOOOOOOOOMED ;-)

(I know you weren't saying that, but I just wanted to be the first one to say it)

Not always, I remember in 2010 SDCC didn't get any reveals. I was at the panel, waiting for some good stuff, and nothing happened. I was a little bummed. I think most of the reveals were at Botcon that year.

Oh well never was into Machine Wars and San Diego is nowhere near me, and with all the 3rd Party and MPs coming out, I will be glad to be saving the money by not attending! Have fun guys and gals!

Bad location for me. Is it just me or does FunPub really favor the West Coast for their conventions. Sucks about the timing for people though.

    Cost maybe?

I hope you're right. I think BOTCON should have the better reveals and let SDCC rehash them

yeah I remember that as well. I was at the panel at SDCC and nothing really was revealed. I think that was the year they just talked about the Hub and transformers Prime, but i could be wrong.

Too close to SCDD, which is a better Con with better toys. The resort is too expensive, especially for flying out there. I will focus on RetroCon 2013, where I am having some of the custom give-a-ways created, so I *KNOW* they are going to be cool ass toys. I am never happy with the BOTCON toys. They pick such awful molds for charaters they really should let the fans start voting on molds and characters so we at least get something we want.

I cant even begin to describe how awesome this is. I never thought botcon would be in my home town! let alone 5 minutes from my house! Not to mention I have 4 or 5 local friends who are hyperventilating at the prospect of an SDBC. I definitely feel for all the east coasters who wont be able to make the trip. I really am beginning to feel a little spoiled rotten having botcon so close to me for the third odd year in a row. But at the same time its really hard to contain my enthusiasm! SDCC is fun, and Ive been every year minus 2010 for almost 7 years, but it really can be a pain sometimes. Botcon is nice and mellow compared to SDCC. It will be a nice change of pace.

I hope my parents can take me. This is quite inconvenient and annoying for eastern fans though.

Really kinda stupid to have it that close to SDCC.
