I suspect they'd display better with the feet flipped around the other way. You know what though - that Black Decepticon deco hat makes me want Fortress Maximus in Nemesis Colours now.
According to Mr.Yuki's tweet with Fort Max w/captimus, a modification (to Captimus, I assume) is required to put the cap on the Max. In case anyone is going to try the same.
I know what you mean. Sitcking a washer to black Rodmius' knee was the pinnacle of my modding. and I don't and will not have a Fort Max
Oh well, saves me $30-something I guess. And speaking of crippled Rodimus, I'm still waiting to hear back about custom replacement knees. When I hear something I'll give you a shout.
If there was a way to curve the bill and remove that stupid sticker (yes I condidered Repainting but my first problem trumps that) I would get one for Max
I am sure you'll love your capbot once you have him in hand. If not, please don't be mad at me for being sure. That would be awesome!! He didn't, and I asked him if it's a complicated mod. If I get a reply I'll report here
That blows. Oh well, I didn't realize the cap could autotransform, so it should be cool anyway. I'm not going to be cutting anything on Max, no way.
Introducing Capticon! It's not the smallest Transformer I own, but it's definitely the smallest package... Lots of sculpted details, both inside and out. Note the pantographed lines representing stitching: "Baby Mickey's a Decepticon sympathizer?!" Transformation's fun, and the robot mode is awesome! The face sculpt is particularly sharp, and has a lot of character to it. Despite the kibble and the spring-loaded parts, his articulation is fabulous. Oh, and the head is on a long double-jointed neck with a ball joint, offering the most incredibly-articulated neck since HFTD Lockdown! "Hey big guy, what happened to your hat?"
Given his 5mm grip, I dug through my parts bin and found some practical weapons for Capticon: They're the right size and shape to be stored in his alt. mode. I'm loving this little guy more and more.
