Wow. So much want for that Skywarp.

 

Dat Skywarp. May be my first import transformer....

 

I was actually thinking how much black is on the design to begin with. Granted his silver on his chest (that he usually has) is replaced with purple in WfC but other things that tend to be purple (like his forearms and hands) are completely black on that design. I'm really glad they retained his actual coloration and didn't G1 him up more (kind of like what happened to the Animated Voyager).

I'm a bit surprised by this statement, considering it was Skywarp and Thundercracker just as long as it was Starscream (the design that is). Since they all appeared on the same stage in WfC together.

I'm glad this figure is extremely game accurate in color like Starscream (love the blue helmet on him).

Not sure on Skywarp, would have preferred jet black and a darker purple. Ah well, I'll see how I feel if he's up on sale somewhere.

 

Went ahead and placed a preorder for a Skywarp. Looks good.

I'd like very much to get these and in particular I shouldn't be too casual about Skywarp, which probably means I should start watching RobotKingdom's website more frequently again!   They're already supplying my Alternity and 3rd party HoS Seekers after all, haha.

He looks fantastic.

But Skywarp, baby, why can't I ever get you without paying import prices? You're breaking my heart, here.

 

I'm okay with less black, but I'd have liked darker purple, too. Like Alternity Skywarp. But still looking great though...I think I'll have to get TakTom FoC Starscream to go with him.

 

I thought Skywarp was following the cues of the cybertron toy there was that much purple but looking at concept art he looks damn near spot on. plus starscream has taken on more red than he used to.

 

I hate and love this at the same time  I think I need to take another look a Skywarp, but I thought he had way more black than purple on him (or is that the G1 toy ), and this purple looks a bit too much like Shockwave too...but I sort of like it.

I wonder how long before we hear that Bic Camera or Yodobashi Camera will be selling Thundercracker exclusively?

Wondering now if Hasbro is gonna do one, and if it'll wind up more GEEWUNNY. If that DOES happen, then this Skywarp is gonna be my WFC/FOC Slipstream, easily. If not, then I'll have to get used to Greywarp.

If the colors in the images are accurate, Blaster has different shades of red and yellow. The symbols are different colors on them and the Japanese one has additional paint on his buttons and feet.

In vehicle mode the Japanese one has additional black detailing and a red top instead of silver. The chair is silver instead of yellow, and additional detailing on the wheels. The Hasbro one has additional red detailing in the rear and the Takara one has some blue lights painted in on the back. Steeljaw has an Autobot symbol and different disc colors as well as some additional silver.

The potential downside here though, is once TC come out.....Between Energon, Prime and FOC.....I can't really see myself ever buying a Seeker again.

 

They both look pretty good to me,I suppose ill look for blaster on the shelves and think about my options for skywarp at a later time
