Our next new Transformers toy gallery for your enjoyment is this gallery of the Transformers the Ride exclusive release, Evac! Only available from Universal Studios, Evac is the star of Transformers the Ride, a new member of the Autobot team who takes visitors to the park on a journey that's more than meets the eye!

The Evac toy is a rather cool little exclusive. He's a complete new mold based on the character from the ride, transforming from a high-tech personnel carrier / the car from the ride into a movieverse styled robot mode. He fits right in with the movie toys too, particularly with contemporary releases from Dark of the Moon. He's got decent amounts of poseability in the shoulders, elbows, hips and knees with a little side-swivel in the ankles to allow for wider poses. On the vehicle mode, the sides of the vehicle lift-up, gullwing style, just like the car on the ride. There's no waist swivel in robot mode though, and no weapon or accessory either, though there are some 3mm clip points on the toy and 5mm peg holes in the hands as well.

All in all, Evac's a cool little toy. He's got a great look and fits in well with the movie series cast. Because he's a theme park exclusive, he commands a bit of a markup on the secondary market and your mileage may vary on whether that is worth it. Certainly at original retail if you are a movie series fan, this one is a good addition to your Autobot side.

Evac's main weapons are these built in arm cannons - though they also double as 3mm clip points, so you can easily "power up" his robot mode if needed.

Once again, big thanks to Russian fan for the gallery submission!

This guy really needs a weapon accessory. And whatever happened to the mass-market release of him in a different color? Weren't we supposed to get in in red with some flame or tribal design tampos?

    Bummer :(

That's why I'd like to say I keep the collection away from the cat, though it's not easy in practise. Can't stay mad at them though :)

I got one when I went to L.A. It's rather hideous to be honest.

Thanks SF!! Enjoyed the pics! Nice job.!!

Can't say I like his robot mode that well...but the alt mode is pretty good. Overall a fair looking Autobot, maybe one day I'll add him to my collection.

He'd be a neat memento for the ride, but other than that, meh.

Alt mode is great, bot mode is really bad. The backpack makes FE Vehicon look sleek.
    Cyberverse did it better.

Yeah, the robot mode is a little blah with that backpack/kibble, but I think that alt mode is kick - f**king - ass!

I already really liked the little Cyberverse version, and this bigger version is just as cool. A little custom paint to that front end, headlights especially, would made him even better!

Ahhh, Dark of the Moon quality. Thin legs n arms. Big backpack. Be best to just melt him down now and reuse the plastic.

Looks like a good figure. Can't wait for the ride to be finished in Orlando, so I can pick Evac up.

It is a decent little figure, and I picked it up on a whim, but It just doesn't fit anywhere in my collection so I am hauking mine.

I'd like him as I think he complement the Wreckers well.

But not found one at a good price yet - he's not expensive but many of the people who have him tend to charge a lot to post him. and I've yet to find anyone selling him who I can multi-buy from.

I wonder if he'd suit Dragstrip's swords or other HA clip weapons ?

Tfwiki says the two guns on his torso can be removed and held in his hands as pistols. Anyone try this yet?

Very true. My cats are pretty harmless to my collection, other than knocking them over. But the dogs...They eat everything in sight! D:

It works, but it's really loose and looks really stupid imo.
