One Direction dolls are on the list, but not G.I.Joe? Kids don't know good toys these days.

What a huge load of crap.

Pretty sure all this stuff is already out.

But also a nice money saving blessing in disguise.

Just means I get to save for the things that really matter.

So wait- Kre-O and Weaponizers are on the list? Why not put Bumblebee on there as well?

So I guess we know what items Hasbro has overproduced and/or has the highest profit margins on.

This release just feels weird to me - too marketing-speak for a sales pitch, yet too much of a literal sales pitch to be a press release. I'm not really sure who the audience is.

    Also,

Made me laugh. Talk about reaching.

since when did activating a weapon gimmick become a mode?

I mean Airwolf did it. K.I.T.T. did it. and those weren't Modes.

Bond did it, Batman did it, and Green Hornet did it. and those weren't modes.

Hasbro come on! you can do better than that. :lol

I guess when Military gear up it's battle-mode. and when fire fighters gear up it's fire-extinguisher-mode. and when Trump Lawyers up he's in All-Your-Dollar-Are-Belong-To-us-mode, Or when a woman get's a facial she's in Halloween-Mode. *shrugs*

To be fair, SWAB is a fun game, even if it is just one more way to milk the SW cash cow.

This and breakdown. Even if you have to massively re-tool FE Bumblebee, give us a legit Smokescreen.

#hasbrologic: no official TFP Smokscreen toy, no western release of the Breakdown mold, but all the bumblebees and heavy pushing of mediocre weaponizers (gimmick laden toys).

Hold on, Kre-O and Weaponizer's are on the list, but not Masterpiece Optimus Prime, I still can't find Masterpiece Optimus Prime anywhere.

I saw phrases like "innovative" and "must have"

But the article makes reference to Weaponizers.

The audience is that group of reporters that cover the economy, shopping and specifically Black Friday. They sell a lot more toys whenever they get press.

I enjoy the Transformers Prime line but wish there were more characters and variety...almost all the Decepticons turn into some kind of jet and almost all the Autobots turn into some form of sportscar. I miss the days of Beast Wars and Animated when we could build huge armies without settling for tiny BotShot or Cyberverse sizes.

I'm trying to comprehend how they turned "words with friends" into a board game that's a combination of Scrabble and Pictionary.

I will admit I'm also surprised Tickle Me Elmo 3.0 isn't on the list. If the last two versions sold like gangbusters, and Hasbro needs a good seller, another TME seems in order.

agreed, i'd never played Angry Birds before, but i was interested in ABSW, so I downloaded a few of the free versions, enjoyed them, bought ABSW when it came out and love the hell out of it... i've beaten the first 2 worlds, and now i'm going back and playing them again to do even better so i can unlock the 3rd world.

You guys do realize this is the list that will tell parents what to buy for their kids right? cuz kids are still the main target audience... and if you tell the parents Transformers Weaponizers, they go to the store and look for them... when they get to said store, see their price, and say (if they're working on a budget) "i don't wanna spend $30 on a toy" they'll look right above the weaponizers to see the Powerizers and Revealers, which a lot of parents will jump for.
