Yes, the Prime line we know with the tons of BBs, cliffjumpers,Wheeljacks and other peg warmers will be relpaced with Beast Hunters BBs, Wheeljacks, and Beast Hunters peg warmers lol. Its going to be Beast Hunters and Generations and some filler stuff till the movie comes out.

The only slight concern for me with a crossover into Beast Hunters line is if Hasbro decide only animals or spikey toys can be released in the line and anything "Normal" is not in keeping any more.

That leaves things like Breakdown, jet Vehicon,Ironhide, Frenzy, & a non Spikey Smokescreen as a remaining worrying lack for Hasbro in 2013.

If they continue to farm out Optimus and Bumblebee and they never make a non-spikey Smokescreen or never make a Hasbro Jet vehicon or a breakdown that will be a terrible shame.

*I realise there's a Takara Knockout remoulded into Smokescreen - but that does not mean I'd not like Hasbro to make a new mould deluxe of him in 2013.*

The other worry I have is that they might decide to not make an Insecticon toy because they are not "Beast Hunter Predacons" 'as such'.

If they do decide to make a spikey Smokescreen new mould I just hope the mold is able to be de-spiked and maybe at least Takara can make a version of him.

If I was to offer some friendly advice to Hasbro i'd say if there's anything that you can't do for price like Breakdown then the simple answer is to do that as a boxed set.

Another good reason to do boxed sets is that it might be a good way to avoid having to include electronic accessories at great expense and would allow them to just release Takara's Breakdown as is - perhaps with a small new roof, Hammer and shoulder cannon accessory.

As I've mentioned before there may be some merit to producing show relevant accessories as pack-ins for Voyager toys instead of the light up bits and selling that as the gimic - like the used to do with 90's Gi Joe toys.

We've just got a Generations Boxed sets - the Asian Market and some global markets got one or the other (or both) of the "Entertainment packs" and TRU have taken loads of that sort of thing over the years.

with ready made obvious repaints and releases just sitting waiting to be made and the only reason Hasbro can come up with for not releasing them is the number or planned waves before they change to Beast Hunters or the cost the Boxed sets get around both problems it provides a natural home for all the things that other wise might get left out completely like Frenzy The Jet Vehiocns. or Skyquake. and it even allows them a place to make full scale versions of Fallback, Grey Bulkhead, Flamewar, Ironhide and even Night Watch Optimus Prime (who could almost stand in for show colours Nemesis Prime too) or even a Black Bumblebee.

And if they did decide to do a Voyager Insecticon then it would also provide a place to include Hardshell too.

If however they tried to do to much of that sort of thing under the current release pattern it might not work so well in a 2 new characters per case format.

To be honest, I'm surprised Wal-Mart hasn't tried a temporary rollback just to help clear out all the extra BBs. Also speaking off, I guess it looks like we wont see a $10 rollback on deluxes this year since in the toy holiday book, it advertises deluxes at $15.47

Hasbro is drying up on Transformers, they need to brighten up the franchise some more or it will go on a big downfall! By 2014 they need to come out with a bang on the TF4 toys and make up for DOTM (wich sucked)! Also, try need to advertise their toys some more!

I'm betting that the TF4 toyline gimmick will be gigantic, absurd weapons that come with tiny, simplistic robots as accessories.

I bet the managers in your area cringe when they see you coming down aisle.

Well its not surprising news. Wal-mart seems to suck at selling toys lately. the boys toy aisle is about 1/3 of an aisle for action figures, it used to be a full aisle. Now lots of other toys are fitted in there.

its not terrible if they think kids arent into them, but ive seen people in tru and such still checking them out. Im not sure but i think the toy section overalll seems to be shrinking at =walmart, maybe theyre getting out of the toy business?

For all purposes they are as far as im concerned, i dont remember when I lost bought soemthing from the toy aisle at walmart.

Not surprisingly Ive been buying toys from target and toysrus. Walmart can go sink if they choose to. THere are plenty of outlets for me online or at those 2 stores.

This is what happens when Hasbro Creates their own Television Channel (Which certain cable providers do not carry. I know Wide Open West doesn't), Makes poor action figure distribution choices (BEES FOR EVERYONE!), Doesn't deem it Financially Feasible for Certain Characters to be distributed here in the states (No Voyager Breakdown for You!), Doesn't even Start distributing the toys for a given cartoon until almost a year after it airs, and generally mishandles Transformers....

Eh, I don't count on retail anymore anyway. If at all possible, I order online.

It's the same over here in Australia though. Nothing but Prime Bumblebees and Cliffjumpers. We are seeing progress though, as I am now seeing more Ratchets, and arcees so hopefully after Xmas we will see some newer waves.

I still think Hasbro and The Hub should cross promote by having small 2-3 hour Sat/Sun morning Hub blocks on the main Discovery Channel. At least to help viewers who don't get The Hub or otherwise have no access to it.

My nearest Walmart always just Prime Bumblebee, Cliffjumper and Voyager Prime. I've seen them having Kup and Vehicon only one time and never seen anymore since.
