I've had this book for a few days myself and I live in Japan--it's out:D  We've been talking about here.

The art book is mostly FOC art:(  There is very little art from WFC:mad  I bought this book with the assumption that the book would have an equal amount of art from both, but only a hand full of images cover WFC...

Picked this up yesterday. Great book. It's also pretty huge, sizewise, so that's nice.

There's a ton of concepts for what could have been, including awesome parts of the Sea of Rust, and a really fun concept of Bumblebee, who has his alt mode modified to resemble a mini submarine, chased by Sharkticons (the big eyed G1 ones) :)  :)

One small complaint: I wish the character art was it's own chapter. Now the characters are scattered all throughout the book, appearing in what their playable levels were. I'd rather scroll through them together.

Oh, one other thing, it does feature some art for unused characters, but don't buy the book expecting you will get tons of those: it's pretty much just Springer, Ravage and Broadside. But they all look awesome.

    Highly recommended!
