I hope it doens't have any of Team Prime joining the Decepticons.   If there is there better be a good reason for it. However what about the Humans? Will any of them be bad guys?

So, will one of the Bots be tainted by Dark Energon and become a Megs lacky? And I have little to no doubt now that Dreadwing is going to survive! YAY!

Or it could be Optimus going to a darker place too reclaim Cybertron.

 

With them keeping the Bots at a disadvantage means next to no new Autobots. Also probably means no Dinobots from some of the other comments.

 

The switching of sides could be "temporary", I don't think its permanent.

 

Sweet. I love hearing stuff like this. It makes me extremely excited for season 3. Now if only we could get some kind of confirmation about a fourth season

 

Hang on one of the writers from a podcast a while back says that we'll see new Autbots in Season 3. So just because this says the reason why there's few Autobots doens't mean we won't get new ones later on.

I hope so for Team Prime's sake.

 

Hope not, the series really needs to shake stuff up badly. There been too many times of them playing the temporary card, time to throw the permanent card on the table.

I would love to a bot to become broken in the mind and just snap, join the Decepticons and take on a new evil look. Do something different, a fallen hero that is so broken that there is no hope.

 

Uh. No it doesn't. At all. Specially with a whole new faction for Decepticon characters. Autobots could add 5 more guys and they would still be at disadvantage.

 

But the new comics, The Rage of the Dinobots, is supposed to tie into season 3. I would think that means we are getting the Dinobots. Who knows?

 

I hope we get some amazing plot twist involving Smokescreen or Alpha Trion during the season finale

 

Alpha Trion walks up to the Autobots and pulls off his face to reveal himself as Shockwave. Smokescreen then turns out to be a bomb in disguise and blows up. WHAT A TWIST!

Okay, the most likely candidate for faction-swapping "soon" is Dreadwing. He's the only Decepticon character thus far who has had any reasons to truly turn his back on his faction.

 

If there's going to be one it could be either Smokescreen or Wheeljack. Smokescreen because his fear and frustration of trying to be an Autobot gets to him and he goes insane as a result and begins to hate the Autobots for it. Wheeljack for feeling betrayed by the Autobots. That's my two cents.

 

Side changing? Pretty sure they mean Dreadwing but the good guys becoming bad guys? Maybe we get a new Autobot who switches sides?

It also could be referring to Grimlock, who isn't a very good "team player" with the Autobots.

 

Long shot, but maybe WheelJack since he is on his own the majority of the time, gets picked up and reprogrammed ala the robo-smasher thus a bot switches sides, but not on his own accord.
