Exclusive Preview: Transformers MTMTE #10 | CraveOnline Wow, the flashback story definitely isn't going the direction I thought it would. And look-- Spoiler Red Alert isn't dead after all! At this point, Light Light crew members losing their heads and surviving might be a theme, haha.
That's great to hear! Checking out the preview now! Can't wait till this one comes out edit: Damn great preview. Can't wait to see what comes next! at Ratioism
EATSER EGG ALERT: that green flier is virtually identical to a Thunderbolt Starfury from Babylon 5. You go, Mr. Milne.
Chromedome and Prowl. Their Cops! Amused by present day chrome dome describing the events with toy spaceships. Oh man the cybertronian TV stuff is chewy; more of that pre-war cybertron decepticon uprising stuff and a tiny bit of knights of cybertron mentioned as well. Alt-mode prejudice and class-ism.
I will not read the preview, I will not read the preview, I will not read the preview,I will not read the preview....FUCK!
Yay Spoiler Red Alert is Spoiler alive . As much as i like them killing people to move the story, I don't like it when their are dead and not in the story. oh yes, love MTMTE for the little juicy details they add, that you see in the second/third/etc reading.
Dude, when someone is giving Drift a good what for, one should not interrupt... Even if it is a former herald of the Dead Universe.
I feel kinda guilty because I love John Barber's work but while I read the RiD preview just fine the MTMTE preview actualy had me accidentaly opening 4 windows because I clicked that fucking fast.
Yeeeeees! Awesome stuff as usual and it's just the first seven pages! I love the little details and references. During the channel hopping bit, the guy giving the speech about racism (the J.A.A.T Lectures) is the NAIL from TDoOP & MTMTE #1 that transformed himself to death. "But in the end it wasn't the iron glass that killed my quarry... It was the ironic billboard. *WHY WALK WHEN YOU CAN FLY?... HIGHER, FASTER, SAFER.* Pahaha, and then Chromedome going on about he deserved it for being an "appalling flier", god, I never thought I'd end up laughing so much reading a Transformers comic. Red Alert's had his memories read by a Mnemosurgeon at some point, that's got to be linked to his paranoia, hope it's explored a bit elsewhere in this issue. Love how Rodimus' plan basically ended at "get Cyclnous in a room" and his and Magnus' subsequent back forth about it, those two are always fun to read. Cyclonus clearly isn't impressed by Drift's 'Bad Cop' routine. I didn't even think of that, as funny as it would've been to never actually see him despite everyone mentioning him, I think (and hope) you may be right. My only gripe? That we got the preview 2 (3?) days earlier than normal, thus making the wait that bit more unbearable, haha. Hey, Next Wednesday, hurry up already!
I love how we even got an explanation for the cold-cast vs forged thing, too, in ONE LINE. After all, there's only one reason I can think of that Nova would engineer a population explosion.
Oh yeah, I forgot how freaking hysterical it was how easily Cyclonus shamed Drift. And Rodimus really doesn't have a good reason to suspect him...lost a bit of respect for him there.
I like this comic. Anyone capable of IDing all the guys in the shuttle bay? I've got Slapdash, Gears, Rad, Rollout and can't figure out the last guy
Heh, cover B is drawn by Casey Coller. Interesting. I like how he played with cover art and the subtitle.
"Apology accepted." Hahaha! I like the fact that Drift frequently gets acknowledged as a veneer of civility over a barely-contained psycho. I like that he's a legit badass perhaps MORE now that we can see the chinks in his armour of sanctimony. However, he just got OWNED by an unarmed Cyclonus. That's pretty sweet. Almost as sweet as Turmoil getting one-punched by Optimus in the last issue of RID. zmog
