    Lol, yeah.

But Bay had much more invested by the time he started the project, Weaving never did.

So Weaving wants something more out of his jobs? So like in Matrix where he sat there emotionless..and then in LOTR where he sat there emotionless..and then TFs where he just sat at home...and oh lets not forget he was a silly looking Red Skull in Captain America where he got to wear prosthetics / mask and show no real emotion..What exactly does he think is his art?

I'm all for an actor wanting more than summer popcorn movies and special effects etc..But a little appreciation can go a long way too. His whining about the quality of the work, of never meeting Bay etc..sure, it may be factual...but you know you come off as a bit of an ass.

I agree with Bay on this one.

Well, because the interviewer didn't really ask about his experience with performing the voice of Megatron in the film franchise. They just asked if he had heard from Michael Bay regarding TF4 specifically.

Hugo is easily replaced, nothing about Megatron in the movies was very iconic or necessary. I don't understand why there's so much desire for Megatron to return anyway. It was a satisfying death, I for one would like to see it left at that. Also, instead of going for the obvious Galvatron route I'd prefer they go for something a little less mainstream for the next Decepticon villain. I personally think it would be awesome if they went with Bludgeon, Thunderwing or Jhiaxus.

It never ceases to amaze me how incredibly fragile some of these people are when it comes to criticism.

clearly... you don't know anything about Hugo Weaving. You just named only a handful of his movies, another one of which he said he wouldn't want to reprise because of lack of connection to the role, while ignoring that he's been an actor since the early 80s. Not always in stuff that a lot of people have seen, but clearly thats not his measuring stick for success anyways.

Well said Bay, publicly complaining about a job that took less than 2 hours and made you $200,000 is just ridiculous. Weaving is a great actor, but totally replaceable as Megatron.

Well Hugo's lines really sucked. Megatron was as good as a drone. And for Bay his movie suck anyway. You should have gone for Bays LUNGS CHEAP BASTARD ONLY $200000 TO READ SHIT LINES. Should have been $30,000,000 to read that crap.

I don't know if the article is the whole story, but if it is I have to go with Bay on this one. How difficult is it to be polite in an interview? Apparently not very easy for Weaving. All he had to say is "I appreciated the opportunity." I guess that is too tough to pull off if you want to announce to the world what a great artiste you are.

Good for Bay, and I agree that disgruntled thespian whiners looking for some level of recognition or points with 'joe average' by dissing their past filmic employers deserve nothing but razzies. Personally I thought it was in poor taste for Hugo to diss Transformers or even his work on Capt America for that matter, simply because it wasn't 'artistic' or snooty enough. If you're working then be happy. As Bay pointed out, many in America (or even the world for that matter) aren't. Actors have much to be happy about, so shuddup Hugo. You're an over privileged whiner baby.

    Over-reacting.

Bay took this way out of context. It was just an honest statement from an interview with Weaving about his experience in the role. It should have ended there.

haha Bay really does have a fragile ego doesn't he. He makes shallow, dimwitted movies, and anyone that doesn't agree gets fired or have their salaries posted on the internet.

Even if Bay was in the right, how can anyone defend this man-child?

i knew this would happen, if Mister Douchebag Hugo Weaving is going to complain about his job at TF, Bay is obviously not gonna be happy and we probably won't see Hugo Weaving back for the fourth one, hopefully Bay does the right thing and let Frank Welker do it

How about Kieth David? Nimoy is too old now and he already played a character in the previous film.

Really? More people complaining about pointless shit again?

Hugo, if you don't like your work, then why not do what Corey Burton did when he was offered the movie Shockwave role? Say no and move on. You took the job and you knew what you were getting into, if you don't like it, then leave.

    And Micheal Bay?
While he may be right on a lot of points, I had to laugh when he brought up integrity.

So I'm going to assume Hugo Weaving is out of here, and then comes the new villain for the fourth movie. Galvatron sounds likely, but I'd personally would like to see Overlord, or Bruticus, both could make decent villains if nothing else.

I can assure you they at least gave a brief run down before he did his lines.

"So, uh, who's this guy, what's he all about?"

"He's the leader of the bad guys. He's kinda a vengeful tyrant."

"I just thumbed through the script, where are all his lines? If he's the leader, shouldn't he be talking a whole lot more?"

"OH GOD, ANOTHER ONE OF YOU ACTORS THAT THINKS HE'S KING OF THE WORLD! DO YOUR LINES AND GET OUT IF YOU HATE IT SO MUCH!"

I think its hilarious that everyone is crying over a 80s adaption film rather then making an original story with better writing. hugo doesnt need to be in the film, he didnt even see the first. who gives. if they replace peter cullen with ryan reynolds great, i hope we get a better designed prime who turns into a pickup like the alternatiny. that has a better design.
