Wasn't sure at first, but the matte color on Jackpot and the blocky head sculpt mutes the animated feel to the figure. He could totally fit in as a "classics" jackpot so that the Classics Jazz mold doesn't get used for the nth time.
Thought Jackpot might be a possibility, but those arms need some other color to break up all that yellow, and the head's too small. Too bad.
Really looking forward to Breakdown, however, I am a bit concerned about mold degradation since this is the 7th time using it (Sideswipe, Sunstreaker, Red Alert, G2 Breakdown, G2 Sideswipe, & P/CP), not including Henkei releases.
Maybe next year we will get Shattered Glass Breakdown from this mold. Or Animated Breakdown in G2 colors.
Can't wait. Outside of all the MP goodness and 3rd party stuff, there isn't too much I am looking forward to in the near future, and a classic figure or two are always welcome additions to the collection.
Oh look at Jackpot a.k.a Robot Lupin the 3rd. I don't have the cash for this though I think Jackpot is cool.
Jackpot looks neat. Always thought the simple, yet awesome Animated Jazz toy could fit into a classics shelf... but I already have the very awesome RTS Jazz, so yea... a retool/redeco with this mold works for me. Wish the arms didn't look so plain. Truth be told, finding a new set of arms and torso/waist would easily make that shell and transformation fit into a Classics figure.
Why couldn't TCC show all the samples they have of the subscription figures? Were these two the best quality?
