- I like the hooded chest but unless a smaller fake hood could replace it in bot mode any seam across that hood would look worse imo. - I dislike inner side of the lower legs and would have been happy for the good old (low on engineering) slide down legs if it meant filled out lower legs. I dont want to pay for complexity in MP's, i want to pay for the best solution. - i have had rubber perish so i'm ok with using plastic.
Gutted about the lack of rubber tires (I've never had any crack on my G1, BT, Aternity or previous MP toys) - seems such a strange thing to suddenly abandon and puts this back into "expensive Classics toy" category. Also wish they'd kept the doors whole - the lines on the side in car mode look crap whereas you expect lines where the doors are outlined. Strange decision again. Autobot symbol... Meh. Much preferred the BT approach of only having the symbol visible in robot mode. Was looking forward to this but I dunno now... I'll still get him... I just think they dropped the ball a little where there was no obvious need to.

dunno why people keep saying he's alternator sized. he's dead on alternity. you guys are gonna be upset if you think he's beefy alt size. on the rubber tires issue, I get that they feel more authentic, but anyone complaining about plastic tires has never had a rubber one degrade on you. feel lucky, it's a sad sad thing when that happens. If it's nicely molded/detailed plastic, I don't care.
I don't know if it's been said here already or not, but Keep in mind this figure may not come to the US. Because doing so means that licensing would need to be done, and I've heard stories about US licensing being a nightmare to deal with. Thanks for the comparison pic.. I don't know why people are thinking that this guy is alternators size.. He scales with MP-10 which is alternators size at best.. I'm so confused where people keep getting these size misconceptions from.
I don't understand why everyone seems to think that licensing is a big issue. licensing in the US is no more difficult would be in Japan. If licensing in the US was difficult then we would not have hot Wheels.. they have a license with almost every single car manufacturer in the world.... every time you play a racing game those cars a licensed to that game company. the only thing that could make licensing difficult would be hasbro not wanting to deal with licensing.

I know this is masterpiece, but I would have REALLY appreciated the shoulder canon being spring loaded as a throwback to the G1 toy. And yeah, die cast feet would have been much better.
maybe Takaratomy will make a sturdier and more 'complete' version 2.0 sideswipe with more diecast later?

I think it means the epitomy of G1. That's how I see it anyways. Can't wait for him....not long now Say wa? MP10 is Alternator sized?? I either read that wrong or you think Alts are alot bigger than they actually are.......
