So will the fifth movie be titled Transformers 5: Running a Franchise Into the Ground?

I'm going to keep an open mind....but....I can't help but feel so FREAKISHLY apprehensive they're ALREADY in pre-production....don't like that at all. And, if they're filming both at the same time, maybe they're going to start having an over arcing story. And for the love of God....

No. It will be called Transformers: We Have Unlimited Stories as Long as You Keep Buying Tickets.

Bay would never pass up an opportunity like that. Sounds like something that will totally happen in one or both of the movies. But what I mean is, as long as there is nothing that's related to Beast Wars (i.e. Maximals, Predacons, etc.), I really, REALLY do not care what happens. Beast Wars to me is my Transformers, not Generation 1 nor any other part of the Transformers multiverse (though Animated is an exception).

If Bay does decide to implement Transformers that turn into real animals...I definitely won't be a happy camper.

Personally i've been talking about the perfect plotline for weeks.

TF4: Nova Prime - who is essentially Sentinel's predecessor comes to Earth with the sole goal of eradicating all human life. He attempts to defeat Optimus Prime and he and his minions end up fighting for a supply of energon located under L.A. (The energon powers L.A.) The film progresses with Nova basically trying to cause as much mayhem as possible, resulting in a final battle that levels L.A. (Due to the energon exploding) forcing the Autobots to retreat. At the end of the film Nova Prime uses some 'dark Energon' on Megatron who is reborn in the form of Galvatron who is literally Megatrons mind in the body of a new robot. Sideswipe is killed during this film.

TF5: Unable to defeat Optimus alone Nova brings back Megatron. The two do not get along well however work together due to their mutual dislike of the Autobots and humanity. Due to the events in L.A. the Autobots are forced off Earth and create a 'Moon Base' close to 'The Ark' as they begin attempting to repair the damaged ship. Nova Prime attacks them ending with a climactic battle on the moon between Optimus Prime and Nova - resulting on Optimus sparing Nova's life due to Optimus's compassion for all form of life. Suddenly Galvatron arrives killing the weakened Nova Prime and issuing Optimus with an ultimatum - Only one shall stand the next time they meet. Meanwhile in space an ancient evil awakens casting a shadow over a nearby planet. Ratchet is killed during this film.

TF6: The Autobots are shocked at Megatrons return as Galvatron. Meanwhile Megatron uses the opportunity to return to Kaon and find the old prisons which contain Decepticon rogues including Cylconus, Scourge. Meanwhile the Autobots repair 'The Ark' Megatron launches a full scale assult on 'The Ark' only for Unicron to arrive. Bumblebee sacrifices himself to defeat Unicron by piloting 'The Ark' into Unicron. The explosion creates a blackhole version of Unicron - meanwhile Megatron betrays Optimus and fights against him on the corpse of Unicron. Megatron almost falls into the black hole yet Optimus saves him stating that he always considered them brothers. They are shown attempting to escape but get sucked into the black hole together leaving the remaining Transformers leaderless resulting in both sides forming an uneasy alliance until they locate their missing leaders.

This set-up would allow Megatron to return yet not feel like a weak villain as he would not return fully until the TF4 and only meet the Autobots again at the very end before leaving. This would establish him as a much more 'behind-the-scenes' villain and give him more build up. TF6 ofcourse would likely be Unicron related given the influence of 'Dark Energon/Energon' which would be included in TF4.

Returning Decepticons would include;

Shockblast - A faster more agile version of Shockwave who is Shockwave's twin - appears in TF4
Sound Blaster - Soundwave gets rebuilt by Nova for help with communications during TF4

I know but we can always hope Hasbro keep him on a tighter leace... even though that wont happen. Personally all he needs to do is cut out the humor and have it be about Nova prime (Who solely just wants to kill everything that is not a Transformer) arrive and try to kill all humans. Its such a simple plotline, it would expand on Optimus's backstory and it would allow Bay to include as many humans as he wants.

Now, as for returning characters? If Sam is no longer prominent, Nor Carly, I have ZERO interest in seeing a Simmons joke character again. I REALLY enjoyed him in the first movie, 2 and 3 he was just, silly. And not in a good way. Have him and Mearing run away to Maui together forever, while Dutch is their servant. Zero fucks will be given if we don't see them again. Why? They had their screen time, is all. And I'm tired of everyone being a comedy relief D-bag.

Now I'm sort of hoping Optimus and Bee, seeing as they've been confirmed to come back, I would like to see new designs, and not too much screen time. Maybe they leave Earth, in search of, god knows what, but still. And leave NEST to another team of Autobots.

The only character I really likes was Lennox, in each movie. I would REALLY like to see a movie set in the future, and when the Prime leaves, he speaks with the new head of the Nest department, and Optimus recognizes her name, Lennox: Being Lennox's Daughter, who was born in the first movie.

THAT would be cool and show a worldly aspect to the whole deal.

But, this is only MY opinion. I'm not even going to start talking about Decepticons.....

I see Transformers 4 & 5 having a new take on NEST.

NEST is now a one-man organization: Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris will roundhouse kick Unicron into the Sun.

wth, the Transformers live action movies are starting to get a tad ridiculous and over-blown..

I'm hoping they pull a Headmasters and Optimus really dies in this one and Fortress takes over, or turn prime carcass into a Transtector and go Masterforce.

Damn Japanese G1, your DVD's are infecting me!
