Well I didn't grow up on G1 so I have no complaints.

I wonder if I can make a G1 Megatron with this...

With that head I think I could make a femme! With a carefully chosen selection of parts that is. (I still think Strika could have been included in the game somehow. She's butch enough.)

Nice Hound. I like the tires on his back/legs and the shoulder cannon.

I would have loved a hound for the game. He has been my favorite Autobot since the release of the original series. BUT That head! its not right! Colour is not dark enough as well.
If they keep him like that I'm sorry but I cant buy that DLC!

This design really highlights the reasons I dislike this aesthetic. Blocky, inflated proportions aside, it's just so generic. It has no flare, it has no unique, memorable elements or character traits. You'd never be abe to tell personality or function from this design. It's just a bland boxy robot. And all that aside, it doesn't look a thing like Hound. Those arms could go to any robot and the chest doesn't look jeep-like or Hound-like at all. The closest he has to Hound is the shoulder missile, a feature which a good number of other robots share.

What is even the point?

Yeah, I noticed ^^' I'll just pretend it's someone else talking and Riot (the femme I've already made using legs and shoulders from Soundwave and chest and arms from Zeta Prime) is a mute.
