Rerelease of Soundwave and Optimus Prime Commemorative figures

I'm interested in the Soundwave only if his box more closely resembles the original, Commemorative book style reissues. If not, I'm out.

this is great news, My boy who is 5 wants a Soundwave, I got a prime for him already but now I can get him a soundwave. So happpy I can do it for him now

Hoping these will come out in Japan though, because I live here and can get it for a better price LOL

As a few folks posted, we had multiple Soundwave releases back in the late 2000's. The TRU version was the double tape deck version, released in 2006/2007. This was the Soundblaster mold from the Japanese Headmasters cartoon. The TRU version had very cool fold out packaging, and came with two tapes, Ravage and Laserbeak. It retailed at $29.99, and I can only speak for myself - but I found him impossible to find at retail.

Hasbro released an SDCC version of Soundwave in 2009. This was the single tape deck version that had come out during the G1 years. It had a different package, with four tapes: Ratbat, Buzzsaw, Laserbeak and Ravage. He retailed at SDCC for $54 after tax. A very cool piece, and I liked this version better personally since I prefer the single tape deck version from the G1 years, the double tape deck makes Soundwave look too large to me.

Unsure, they used the term overseas production without being more specific.

Is ANYONE else offering these other than BBTS ?

Nothing against them I am just trying to see if its a BBTS exclusive or something

If I buy online I most likely will use them
