Toys R Us Exclusive Generations Found in US

Called up a local TRU in Northern NJ with that SKN... unfortunately the associate said they're not showing it as available in any store atm.

IS that SKN proprietary to TRU btw? (Also, would DCPI be the equivalent for Target only?) Pardon the ignorance... never searched for TFs using serial numbers of these sorts.

this thread is all about who's finding them in the US right now. IL got hit first and there's been another sighting up in MI too.

and if you call and have an employee search by the "correct" skn, you might want to have them verify what you're looking for is on the shelves.

the early guys that spotted them in IL were scanned out as regular generations skn's and removed from that stock. other IL board members were calling stores with the correct asia exclusive skn and they still showed up in stock because the item was never removed from the correct inventory.

so if people are buying them and the stores are confused on how they should be scanning them out, there's a big chance you could call with the correct skn, be told they're out on shelves, then still go and they just have regular generations due to scanning out the wrong inventory. it sucks, but if you got them on the line anyways, might as well have them actually check the shelves for you.

I assume that with gasoline costs and given the hours I live away from a TRU, that just trying to find these guys will be so expensive that there is no point in even trying to get them.

I may as well just quite collecting anything new TF related.

Don’t know if this has been addressed but here is the box they come in. They are 8 to a box and evenly packed (2 SPRINGERS, 2 WHEELIE, 2 SWERVE, 2 CLIFFJUMPER). They don’t come in the standard HASBRO box (with the logo) so keep an eye out. Also, the two stores I went to do not have them under the item code and UPC for the GDO’s as they do not show up on TRU registers. They had to use the standard GENERATIONS DLX item code. I found the cases on the top of the display case/shelves above the TF toys as they are stocking for the holidays. Good hunting folks.

Also, FYI, CLIFFJUMPERS hood (the piece w/ the bull horns is very fragile). Be careful when transforming. Already have a crack on the hinge where the bull horns flip under in robot mode.
