    A spin-off without Ratchet? I don't know if I can handle that. :(

Theory. TF:p rime as we know it ends after season 3 episode 16. After a break, the show returns as "TF Prime: BEast Hunters" kinda like how Armada had a seperate arc once the space battle began.

wow, i feel bad for making that comparison

Looks like the possible Beast Hunter reports for Fall 2013 might of been logical after all. If TFP season three wraps up by May 2013, by September we could have a new series and toys maybe.

I wonder if this means that Transformers: Beast Hunters will be the next series. I could see that if they wind up using the Star Seekers as the villains.

edit: It might also help with the character count because they already have a ton of models and shit so they can include even more new characters in Beast Hunters.

This is awful! They can't end it yet!!! Very very sad news... I would be ever so grateful if they make it up to a season 4!

Confusing to say the least. I guess Beast Hunters will be how the Continuity lasts through 2015, or something

Another question I have is that if Beast Hunters is a new Transformer Title will it be connected to Transformers Prime and be a continuence of that Universe or will it pick up where Beast Machines left off. I mean if Hasbro is saying that they are continuing Transformers Prime past 2013 then a new TV Series set in that Universe is the way to go but I guess waiting fort official confermation is the only thing left to do...

    Aw man, that sucks.

At least we know one thing for sure - Ratchet survives until the end of the series.

I don't think this is the end of Prime, necessarily. Hasbro clearly wants to stick to their aligned continuity and don't want to give up on it. My guess though is that they realized that Prime may have been a bit too over ambitious. CG is costly unless you squeeze a few seasons out of it, and if your budget isn't high enough it's way too limiting, which you can see in Prime at times (mostly with the empty environments).

So what I think they're going to do: end Prime, but continue the story in a new series. My guess is that's what Beast Hunters is: the sequel show to Prime, likely with a new (2D?) animation style that's cheaper and more effective, as well as all new designs so that they have an excuse to sell new toys.

Honestly I've got mixed feelings on this.

On one hand I've enjoyed the show and I kind of hate to see it end after I've grown attached to some the characters. I even like the toy line except for a few duds, but then what Transformers didn't have a few duds when it came to toys?

But on the other hand I never really warmed to the CGI art style and I'm not a big fan of how it limits the cast so we end up with loads of Vehicons and Insecticons instead of Decepticon characters. Not too crazy about Prime and Bumblebee looking like movie Prime and movie Bumblebee. And well some weeks were okay but not what you could call great.

I just hope the next series is in the works so it doesn't end up like GI Joe where there isn't a new cartoon on the Hub.

I complain about this show and it has its flaws, but it doesn't need to end so soon :(

Chances are, Beast Hunters is Prime season 4, which will change the scope of the series.

Sucks that it's only 16 episodes and that Ratchet likely won't be in season 4...

I hope not. I was just starting to enjoy it.

The "possibly" means it may hang on a little longer, though... I hope.

I've had a lot of complaints about the show, but I still like it. It's sad that it would have to end so soon. Even though it started in 2010, it feels so short.
