Jumping to conclusions, but... if it's Optimus and the gang fighting random monsters that have nothing to do with anything while Megatron and co. take a backseat you can count me out of this series.

 

Think Prime and Beast Hunters are two seperate cartoons .

 

This could potentially still be good....on the other hand it has the potential to kill Prime for me....will just have to wait and see. This certainly explains Thundertron getting a Voyager class figure. I just hope this doesn't keep Hasbro from releasing Ironhide and Smokescreen stateside. On the plus side, this might give them a reason to give us a Hardshell figure...

In a way I'm glad it's not just a reboot of Beast Wars. The further Hasbro stays away from my guys, the better. I don't want them messing them up.

Besides!! I'm much happier having new material instead of just a retread. If anything, doing a new story is in keeping with the tradition of the Beast Era always doing something new instead of rehashing the past over and over.

 

I just have this hysterical idea of someone opening some dimensional gate to another space time location and flooding a bunch of draconic critters into the world, or local animals being mutated by Dark Energon into monsters.

And then them running about after some 25 foot bear for 22 minutes... Laugh.
