QFT. I'm honestly worried about the direction Hasbro's taking the TF's toys. When the DOTM line's slightly shrunken figs showed up, I was starting to get suspicious. But then my hopes for Hasbro were rekindled when I saw pics of TF Prime's voyager Breakdown. And later I hear it's a Japan only exclusive, the reason being that "the toy wasn't designed to our specifications"--whatever that means.

If the FOC line is any indication, Hasbro's "simpler, smaller, less details" way of toy-making is getting more widespread.

Very Impressive

The only sad things are we had to wait until now to get such a sweet movie prime, and it's probably never gracing our presence via Hasbro. Well, it might -no doubt somehow inferior- looong after this version has sold as much as its going to on it's own merits. Have they even annouced if any of the new MPs are coming over?

Despite the lighter colors, this figure looks really great! I have the original striker, so I'm not gonna be getting this, but I still like it a lot.

Yeah, I'm really disappointed by the new sizes of the new TFs. I'm going to stick to soley reissues and MP TFs.

The grill of this Optimus looks chrome...think I'm going to passed up on him as my chrome toys are super prone to scratches and I've already got the initial version too.

It would be cool, but the cost would be killer. Jetwing prime was $300, and this Buster/Striker Prime is $180. I bet a set like that would run for a good $400 at online retailers.

All the more reason to get it now, right?

Takara Jetwing Prime was around that price; $200-$250 depending on where you shopped (my wife got him for me as a birfmas present last December at Japanese retail during holiday coupon sales, so technically he didn't cost me anything XD).

I think he was saying that if there was going to be an "penultimate" Jetwing Prime (jetwing packpack and gatling guns chromed out the wazoo like their Nemesis/Scourge/Nightwatch version with metallic paint covering every other surface, nook, and cranny plus pinstriping and battle blades + shield), it'd be priced near 300-350 bones. I wouldn't be surprised.

The first ROTF Buster/Jetfire pack goes for that price, $400+. Crazy. Then again it was quite limited.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to argue semantics, I was just explaining why I didn't get what everybody was talking about at first. And since I'm a baseball fan and not a custom car fan, the first thing that pops into my head when I read the word 'pinstripes', is the kind that the Yankees have on their uniforms.
