After poking around TFU.info for a while, I came to the conclusion that Knockout isn't really homaging anything in particular. If anything, he looks sort of Constructicon-y. But I think they just went with an "opposite" deco... instead of red, yellow and white, he's green, purple, and black. Someone set me straight, though, if there's a clear homage I'd love to know! Why, I'm not sure. The red looks a lot better IMO. With the green I want to say he's either homaging one of the Spychangers from RiD or a Japanese exclusive repaint of the Skyboom Shield from Armada. That's if they're homaging anything. |
