Not nearly 90s enough, but still appealing. Still kinda funny that every redeco of Jazz continues to be an exclusive in some fashion.

Here's what I plan to do with the G2 CHOP Optimus homage :

Jazz looks kind of cool. the optimus though, what on earth is he? they'd have been better off doing him in proper laser prime colours (like they should have bloody done when they first released him) or done a full G1 repaint with clear plastic.

I love that Jazz deco. Hopefully the pack will be relatively cheap when it hits Walmart, I'd love to get that Jazz, and the others are nice too. Except that Optimus. That's just... odd looking, in my opinion. The blues don't even match up...

I was really disappointed I missed out on the first preorders, but now I'm happy they're restocked! Those G2 symbols on Optimus <3
$65 including shipping to Australia is fair to me. In store they'd be about $25 each for the deluxes and $7 each for the Legends. I'm happy to pay that for exclusives!

They'll be displayed next to one of my G2 Bruticus.

For those confused about the Prime in this set

http://tfwiki.net/w2/images2/thumb/2...tHeroPrime.jpg

Optimus Prime (Combat Hero, 1995) Accessories: Gun, 2 rockets Combat Hero Optimus Prime was to be a redeco of Hero Optimus Prime in dark blue and red. A packaged sample of this toy was produced, but it was ultimately never released.

A finished sample of Combat Hero Optimus Prime was among the rare toys auctioned off for charity at BotCon 1996, along with several other unreleased Generation 2 items.
