    Really a perfect example why G1 colors don't always work on movie toys.

    Also, there already is a movie Starscream. Would've preferred it if they released this mold either as Skywarp (stealth gray/black) or Thundercracker (blue angels)

    Funny to think that the idea of a Black & Purple Megatron (also used for Animated Shadow Blade Megatron) may well come from that Unreleased idea of a toy that was Skywarp/Megatron with a 3rd Megatron Robot mode . I think it looks more like the repainted Animated Megatron Leader class toy than it does the Dark Energon Voyager Prime toy personally - nice colours - shame about the mould.

    But at least it's some baby steps in the direction of giving you something to stand with/against all those Optimus repaints Takara keep making.

    I've wanted a G1 Color Starscream forever. I never thought we would get one...but we did. I can't wait to get this guy. He looks great!

    The mould is so amazing I'll probably buy it if its a reasonable price even if the colours are meh.

    Are you familiar with the Leader Starscream mold? It blows away all previous incarnations. I love that figure and my only minor nitpick is lack of wrist swivel.

    Wow, love the look of that Dark Energon Megatron. Too bad it's such a lame mold. I already have the Shadow Command version anyway.

    It should have had a head retool like the original G1 deco TFTM Starscream for it to work.
