she needs obvious breasts and a build like a barbie doll to work as a female for some people, apparently.

I don't know what you guys are thinking. I think she looks gorgeous, the pic is just a little dark around the head so it makes it looks a bit strange lighting wise. Nothing more.

Can't wait to have her on my shelf with Skywarp and Knockout. Now I just need a Prime Thundercracker and maybe even one day a Sunstorm.

See the thing is, 'feminine' characteristics aren't 'female' characteristics. There are males with feminine characteristics, and there are females without feminine characteristics. Yes, even in the Transformers species. Good examples of this are TFP Starscream and Strika. The TFP Starscream mold is still a male mold, no matter how feminine it is, just like any Strika mold is female no matter how masculine it is.

Skinny with high heels/lipstick = Feminine characteristics
Wide(r) hips and breasts = Female characteristics

Subscription Service Slipstream has zero female characteristics(except I'd imagine voice, but that's irrelevant for the figure). That is why I personally dislike this figure, and that's why I'm selling him when I get him. He's nothing more than a male redeco of a female character, and I dislike even the idea of that. Unless he's canonically a male version of a female character, without pretending it's female.

And fwiw, I think Barbie has a grotesque body shape.

still looks good to me but i hope that pic is showing that purple much lighter than it is, the promo shots show it much darker. hate promo shots and then the real thing is off.

What she needs is not to have broad shoulders and chest. Boobs don't make a feminine robot. Feminine proportion makes a feminine robot.

Skinny dude =/= female.

The head sculpt is great. Definitely a feminine Seeker in the Prime style. The body, on the other hand, I've never considered remotely of a female build. Slightly effeminate, yes, but there's a very important distinction there.

I dunno; the body looks feminine enough to me.

This Slipstream is just Starscream in drag and renamed.

Terrible idea in 20/20 hindsight.

I like it...I'm going to take a possibly controversial stance here and say that Slipstream is a Cybertronian "otoko no ko", and roll with it. If it hasn't dawned on you yet, that's a male.

The head doesn't feel very seekerish
