MP-8 is a really good place to start the line. That is when they turned the corner with the line and began trying to keep everything in scale, imo. I would skip on Megatron though, he isn't a very good figure and is riddled with issues. Given the fact that Optimus Prime was given a new mold in the new scale via MP-10, it's a safe bet we will see a new mold of Megatron showing up in the new scale.

I would also skip MP-9 Rodimus, unless you love the character and he is a must have. There have been a lot of issues with that mold.

Considering that he's a repaint and remould of Sideswipe, who's wheels end up under his chest, yet they are striving for cartoon accuracy where they're on his shoulders...I think it's more fanservice than dumb.
SOC, Yamato, Hot Toys, FE and more for sale!

Probably as much as a fake grill.

I prefer Red Alert have 'fake' wheels to just having Sideswipe's shoulders.

If they keep putting these out, I'll just be okay with collecting just masterpieces. These are amazing.

Also see: Sick of repaints......Unless they're seekers.

If they put real wheels there, then somebody would complain they're too big....they didn't have to bother on that one, retailers would've ordered anyway.

Still won't buy Red Alert or Sideswipe as they don't say MP to me. Soundwave is just fucking amazing though. Holy shit.
I agree. I think Soundwave is worth the cash imo.

Agreed to both. Me, if it wasn't for the fake wheel, my decision for passing on Red Alert would be a lot easier especially now that he has the abominable red thigh, ehhe.
Dear god Hasbro/TTomy: Please make Prime Cyberverse UM w/ his space ship as action figure like WJ/ Star Hammer and I'll promise never to bash you!

I want Soundwave so bad!!! But I am having such a hard time spending that much cash for him. With my luck we will never get a hasbro version or he will have some ridiculous repaint. I don't know what to do!
