I would say there's at least a little fault on their part. They didn't have it in stock. I was upset and was ready to take my business elsewhere. I happen to check an hour later and they had it in stock and I decided to go back to them when I could have spent a fraction of that elsewhere. It's their fault they didn't have it in stock at the time I checked the first time. Obviously they had more stock than what was listed on their website at the time. Let's look at this as if it were a brick and mortar type retail store. If I were to go into a WalMart because they advertized in their flyer/ad a sale on XBox 360s and I really want one. But when I get there, the shelf appears to be completely bare. I'd be very upset. Especially if there's noone around for me to even ask if perhaps they had more in the back(I looked on RK's website for an email or a Twitter account or something for me to ask them if they'd be getting any more in and couldn't find one). I'd then go across the street to Target, where they have essentially the same thing at half the price. Now, any normal person would have just but it then and there. But since this online, I quickly darted back to WalMart before completing my checkout at Target and low and behold, the stockboy had just freshly restocked it. Not only did I abandon my cart at Target, but I went back to WalMart, and not only did I buy the XBox, I bought an HDTV to go with it.

You make the customer waste their time and make them look like a fool and they STILL buy from you? In the real world, that'd be crazy. But online, that's business as usual? Why shouldn't online retailers be held up to the same accountability as regular physical stores? I would think little things like not having their big deal in stock that they posted on the front page of the big news sites like TFW and Seibertron should hurt their customer loyalty a tad.

Edit: I also totally don't get the Walmart/Target analogy. I mean it happens literally EVERY black friday.
