![]() Seriously, I couldn't care less about whether this uninteresting guy wearing the skin of the gentle giant Animated version lived or died. And now what we have a generally interesting new Decepticon with Hardshell (who I hope gets a toy), the show just goes and (most likely will) kills him off? They did it before, with Skyquake, then Breakdown, and even took Airachnid out of the picture. This show is getting even worse then BW at keeping a steady cast list, and I thought we did not have this "one new character means an old one has to be killed off for budget reasons" thing with CGI anymore. Seriously, we have only had 13 episodes - 1/3 of Prime's - of Green Lantern so far, but I have re-watched those a few times already, and eagerly await season 2. With Prime, I can sometimes barely make it through an episode. But sadly, it looks like we are stuck with the show for a long time ... And yes, as others said - the show is afraid of change. The season opening, disregarding all the Unicron *** last season, had a genuine chance to DO SOMETHING with Optimus "Boring as a piece of wood" Prime. Instead, they restore him to same old boring Prime. Then we had the possibility of BB losing his transformation ability - nope, back to normal. Then we had a chance that Starscream may join the Autobots -NOPE, he had to open his big mouth about Cliffjumper. Then a chance of MECH becoming a credibly third party in the long run... oh wait, Silas is crushed and Nemesis Prime destroyed. Then maybe Airachnid can become what Starscream was in Animated, a rogue Con with an army... Nope, rubbed out in one episode. Hey, maybe the writers can do something about the unusual (for Cons) friendship between Knockout and Breakdown... oh wait, he's dead, off-panel! Seriously. I want "The show of missed opportunities" written on TF Prime's tombstone. The show that could have been overwhelming, but just managed to be whelming, as a character on a much better show would say.

Ratchet. It's like they tried to clone Animated Ratchet, but left out all the parts that made him fun - like his ability to change the tone of his bloody voice! Special Trade Offer - Overlord, Action Master Elites for Botcon Animated Stunticons!Arcee is still the best character from the main ones, and that's saying much. If only she could finally let go of her 'raaargh, REVENGE!" mentality. Quote:
Young Justice is a kid's show. So is Green Lantern TAS. So was JLU. So was Spectacular Spiderman, or The Avengers - Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Heck, so was GARGOYLES. So was Beast Wars. Shadow Raiders. Wolverine and the X-Men. Roswell Conspiracies. Thundercats (2011). TF Animated. But to me it seems, shows with intelligent, over-arching plots and mature writing get the shaft earlier then usual. Prime has nothing to fear in that regard. Prime isn't a bad show. Nope, it is mediocre. It is so mediocre, it hurts. At least you can point and laugh at a bad show, like Energon's always-screaming Ironhide and foot-stomping angry Kicker, or the many animation errors and Mini-Con name mistakes in Armada (how many people got called Sparkplug?)... I hate Headmasters, but the incredibly silly dub made it bearable. But Prime? I almost fall asleep watching it. Dull scenery, dull characters... those who are moderately interesting get killed off soon. Heck, I bought an expensive toy of Breakdown (my 2nd Prime toy, ever) just because I liked the character... thanks, writers, for writing him out of the show.

And we saw at the end of Nemesis that it was clear we haven't heard the last of Silas and MECH by a long shot because of Silas being in Breakdown's body. And if I recall correctly didn't the writers say that we haven't heard the last of Unicron? I understand how they weren't done like many of us expected to but we still have a couple of episodes to go with before we see if they do serve a purpose or not. Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 StaffKaijuformers comic.http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transf...juformers.html Maybe it's just me but are we that mad at a show all because we've read a extended discription for an episode that hasn't even been aired yet? I mean is this what we're ruduced to now? Bashing an episode that hasn't even been aired yet? This is the worse I've seen people react about this it really is. I can understand the complaints if the episode did air yesterday and it did that sort of ending but to do it before hand is just..Wow...Just wow... If you people want to carry on how much of a boring failure Prime is with it's dull and hateful characters with wasted poteintal then go ahead it's your opinions. As for me and some others we're going to see the show to the end before making that sort of judgement. |

Dammit, just shot a Voyager Predaking missile whoknowswhere. Can anyone spare one?Unless, on JLU, you were a phenomenal cosmic being, but in that case you were so easy to bring back to life that it could be done accidentally. NEW Sale and Trade Thread,Feedback Thread,Wanted Thread |

In theory, fans are supposed to be the force to bring a character back to life (as it happened to Optimus Prime, and it became a trademark habit of him) and now you're doing the very opposite of that. Not that I would disagree with you. I simply state that this is an odd behavior. |
