On a side-note, I do hope there's a scene in there where the Dinobots pester Ironhide to tell them war stories..... ![]() Transformers: Descending and Other Storylines: 1stof the Newest Updates!/Newest Updates-"TF3 - What Elephant?" It only opens it even smaller in another window.Ah, I see. I wasn't able to read the text; I always did like the idea of the Dinobots being fascinated by war stories, regardless of their intellect level. If what you just posted is any indication, the Dinobots and Sky Lynx scenes are certain to be highly entertaining! Thanks! ![]() Transformers: Descending and Other Storylines: 1stof the Newest Updates!/Newest Updates-"TF3 - What Elephant?" Here's what I have for sale or trade. Click the link to view the list! No thanks! As a dinosaur nerd, I'm happy that he's a proper Apatosaurus. Many of the Dinobots looked ridiculous back in G1. They didn't even look like the dinosaurs we know today. ![]() "When darkness falls and all hope is lost, the chosen one shall rise to light our darkest hour." - Optimus Prime Birth, Inherit, Future, Destiny. |

One of the Dinobot heads in there did remind me somewhat of DOTM Laserbeak's charming mug. Nevertheless I'm quite accepting of most Dinobot interpretations and these are fine with me too. I also admire your scientific acumen. As such I could have made a fool of myself quipping sharply that the Dinobots in G1 were perhaps less disguised and more shock troops who generally needed their own island to hide on. Or that ultimately they're no more or less nonexistent/fictional than a dinosaur that has been disproven by science. I would not go so far as to ridicule the overtly robotic G1 designs though; this alone should waive any burden of Paleontology you might lay on the illustrators, industrial designers and the like who would have conceptualised these toys. I will defer to your seemingly extensive knowledge as to if said nonexistent dinosaur was invalidated when (what would become) the Dinobots were designed. Furthermore that the designers could have known - even if they wanted to be completely accurate - doesn't entirely mean they would or should be, with particular reference to the lack of internet at the time, and that font of human knowledge, wikipedia. I at least, could no more find someone living in a third world country today ridiculous for still thinking Pluto was a planet. ![]() | |
