TFW Generations Wheelie Gallery

Next up in our look at the Asia Exclusive / China Import assortment of Transformers Generations is the toy that made a lot of us laugh and say "wait, what?" I am of course referring to Wheelie! Wheelie here is a reuse of the Reveal the Shield Jazz toy, again with a new head and also this time a new accessory, trading out Jazz's gun for Wheelie's trusty slingshot.

The crazy thing with Wheelie is that he actually works extremely well out of Jazz's mold. In vehicle mode a combination of a clever paint job and the overall shape of Jazz evoke the look of the Universe Legends Wheelie extremely well. In robot mode the new head, new deco and new accessory help to set Wheelie aside from Jazz, and give him a personality all of his own. It is perhaps a testament to how well done this deco is, and how well designed Jazz was to begin with, that I'm now on my sixth version of this toy and it still feels as fun and fresh as the first one.

Open the link below to check out the gallery for a look at Generations Wheelie! Like the rest of this Asia Exclusive Deluxe Assortment, he'll be available as a part of the Toys R Us exclusive China Import assortment later in the year.

I am very glad to own the SFC Daniel (who came with Arcee in Act 4), he is the perfect scale against Deluxe sized Transformers.

I really like this toy. The car mode is very reminiscent of the legends toy from the 08 universe line.

Really like the looks of this figure, expect for the face. Never noticed before how soft the details are.

I really like this Wheelie figure. It feels more like Wheelie after he's grown up a little. This Wheelie doesn't feel like he would be quite as annoying and since he's in Jazz's mold it also feels like he's got a little extra backstory. Like Wheelie started to look up to Jazz and took on his alt form once he mellowed out and matured a little.

I like this deco but I'm still not telling the figure. It just doesn't look right for some reason.

So awesome looking! My only problem is that he is bigger then he should be in my classics collection, then again, I am not happy with a whole lot of characters sizes in classics, I'll get used to it.
Besides the classics size issue, as a standalone toy he is pretty perfect imo.

His head sculpt is a little derpy and the mold doesn't really fit the character very well to me, but i kind of love it anyway, the color scheme looks really great on that mold.

I'm surprised at how much I love this. It really is the size that is throwing me off but it works really well. The colors are great and the headsculpt is definitely Wheelie. Plus it's one of my favorite molds. It's a definite buy!

Thanks for sharing the pic's. Wheelie looks great in that mold. The slingshot gun is cool. I'm interested in this figure and Swerve from the same series of releases.

The road to success is always under construction.
