I really think the g1 head on this guy is a good idea for a earth-mode Cliffjumper. I currently own the WFC one as my classics Cliffjumper.. I always hated the idea that he was just a repaint of Bumblebee... He wasn't originally that way. In my opinnion the prime mold works on this one... I can't wait to find him in stores.

Agreed, he's just a little taller than Classics Bumblebee, which means a lot to me, since I view Bumblebee and Cliffjumper as a younger brother / older brother pairing. He scales very well with the Classics in general.

I still prefer the head mold of Cliffjumper for the Alternity version than this Generation version

I wonder how the figure would look with the WfC Cliffjumper head. If the colors of the plastic match closely enough, I'll just perform a head swap if the balljoints are similar.

Not a fan of the head on that body, but it is a lovely mold. Cliff's been getting a lot of toys since he died in Prime

If you can swap the heads of the RID Cliffjumper, and this, then definite buy.

I still think this doesn't quiiiiiite work as Classics CJ; the proportions, the forearm and shoulder design, and the rounded thighs are still giveaways that he came from a line with a different aesthetic. BUT, having said that, he works FAR better than I expected him to, and ended up a really nice-looking toy in his own right. He might not be quite "Classics," but he's the next best thing and still a perfectly serviceable fill-in.

Then again, I'm probably not one to talk; I use PRID Bulkhead as Classics Bulkhead and I think he fits in just fine... rounded thighs and all.

What's the fifth use of this mold. Not calling you out, I just can't think of it and now it's bugging me.

As for the figure itself... I am patiently waiting for RK to get in the Rage if Herc set in so my order with the case of GDOs gets sent. I admit it's imperfect to use a G1 head on this mold, but those pics make it look a lot better than I had anticipated.
I can think of 8 so far:

1. Takara FE
2. Hasbro FE
3. TFP RID
4. Takara AM03
5. Takara AM08 Terrorcon
6. SDCC Terrorcon
7. GDO/Asia exclusive
8. FE re-release Terrorcon

I have the GDO, it's the only one I got among the Asia "exclusives", love the headsculpt, much better than WFC, IMO. Might get Wheelie too when I find one.

Now Cliffjumper's mold is surely fully utilised in this case.

Three and four in your list are a different mold. Still, that's six uses...

Anyways, I was initially against this repaint/retool, and while I'm not sure if I'll actually get it, I've definitely warmed up to it. It helps that I like the mold itself. What's keeping me from deciding is....what generation is this supposed to be from? Is it G1, is it Prime, or is it the aligned continuity in-general? Also, I'm either thinking about getting this guy, or the Prime Ironhide figure (assuming Hasbro actually releases that mold as Ironhide...).
