TFW Generations Swerve (Asia Exclusive) Gallery

Today we are proud to present the first of four galleries for the recently released Generations Asia Exclusive Deluxe Assortment! These four toys are all great additions to the growing Classics / Generations series, and are going to get a limited run later in the year exclusively through Toys R Us in the US, so please take this as an opportunity to get an early look at these store exclusive toys.

First up is Swerve, an update of the Minibot who has seen a surge in popularity thanks to James Roberts. Generations Swerve is a reworked version of Generations Kup with a very nice alternate head (which makes me think of a firefighter for some reason). The design is exceedingly clever, with lots of little details like the white truck bed, black hood and even the Autobot symbol placement on the roof all evoking the original character. He's a bit of a leftfield choice for a new toy, but he fits the design very well and the new head gives him a certain charm. One that is well recommended, especially if you missed out on picking up Kup for whatever reason.

I really like this mold but this figure doesnt fit my collection, I wish they would have put a cap on the back of the truck and painted him blue and red.
If you get my meaning, I still love this mold it is so versatile!

^ uhh..... Red n blue would be Gears! But yeah they should at least add a cab. With that they can also make Gears from this mold

This mould actually fits dion a lot better.

Nonetheless, what we got is still good.

Great photos Simon! I'll definitely add this Swerve to my Classics Minibots.

And a straight repaint of that head will be a perfect Gears upgrade.

It could also double as an improved Classics Ironhide.
