TFP S02E16 Title and Description

Considering the two characters that are mentioned, it's probably what everyone is thinking. I'm looking forward to it, but I'd still rather just see Miko and Raf chucked in a vat of acid.

Y'know, days after hearing the synopsis, I'm starting to get the idea that this is one of Miko's plans. I can see it now, Wheeljack will show up somewhere trying to get an Autobot to come out but it turns out that Miko called him.

Since when does Hardshell falling into lava mean he has to die? Yeah it probably isn't good for him but he got out pretty quick so he managed to avoid being melted by it.

The reason characters in BW didn't survive is likely because they were paralyzed or had no easy way out. They could have survived (which is what happened to Megs) but they were too damaged to avoid dieing from it.

I think if there is anything that can be gleaned from Terrosaur dying in Beastwars and BW Megatron surviving, it's that each Cybertronian is unique.

Not every Cybertronian can do a Megatron and survive a space bridge explosion at close range. And not every Cybertronian can do a Hardshell and survive a lava bath. They have different levels of durability.

I justify the durability difference between G1 guys and BW guys this way: the G1 guys are impenetrable war machines who've been fighting for millions of years. They're practically fucking invincible, and can really only be killed by each other. By BW though, the fighting has stopped for a long time and there's no need to be a walking tank anymore. Hence why only a tough motherfucker like Megatron was able to survive a lava bath.
