Major fail! Looks nothing like Hotspot, except for the head. Instead of wasting money on producing these inaccurate repaints Hasbro should've invested that money in the FoC line. But we get upscaled legends figures instead.

Ehh - I'm not really a fan of painting one figure into another character just because they share a similar alt mode. I'd rather character repaints be based on the look of the robot mode as that's where their character usually is. It's nice enough but it still just looks like a blue Inferno to me. Or with that head, a blue Optimus Prime. I can see some potential mix and match with an Inferno going on to make an Optimus figure because of the window chest. Pity the blue of Hotspot's legs wasn't darker for a more Optimus colour leg-swap.

Yeah, same thing I was thinking. I think it would have made a world of difference if they had given the fig a new head sculpt based on the G1 animation model instead trying to base the fig on the actual G1 toy.

Might display this with Universe Onslaught and Silverbolt.

Ugly head for Hotspot

First Onslaught and Silverbolt, now this? Why do they keep making combiner leaders that have no ability to combine with other bots? These suck. It is no different than making one Constructicon or one Predacon. Useless.
